Nah even if they lost, this team showed me something tonight. These last two games were big character building performances.
Ayton has to go. I’ve lost all faith in him. His fake ass games won’t convince me anymore.
Not mad at that. Clippers made their shots down the stretch.
Only thing for me is, LUKA YOU HAVE TO SHOOT THAT.

Luka made that crazy three, and the Lakers proceeded to go on a drought while the Clippers made timely shots
Just a tough way to lose
Luka was 3-13 from 3, Bron had 4 turnovers and also shot poorly from 3. It’s not like they were perfect and we still lost. Role players shit the bed too, Luka and Bron had their share of bad plays.
Yea I sure wish we had a center who cared about every game rather than choosing when and where he wants to show up. Consistency is an incredible thing, but I mean hey you’re playing for a contract next season and you’re taking certain games off? You do you big man

We lost but I’m not mad at it. It’s great that Lebron is playing well, I loved what Vando showed tonight, and Smart would be one of the best sixth men in the league. I might sound delusional because the lakers are on a skid but I really think we’re one big move and one or two small moves away.

Luka, JJ and Rui sold this one.
Luka needs to be consistent and level headed.
JJ and the coaching staff are asking the same mistakes repeatedly.
A 41YO is still the one who corrects things in the 4th.
Vando and Smart were huge.

We didn’t need Rui out there at the end. Multiple fouls at the end there in the penalty trying to guard Zubac in the paint and missed the semi open corner 3.
Same problem as last year.. need a big man. Zubac absolutely bodied Ayton and Hayes on the boards tonight. This roster has too many weak links. Rui also isn’t worth shit anymore when he doesn’t consistently make his catch and shoot 3s. Gabe shouldn’t even see the floor. Loved the effort from Vando and Smart tonight at least

i blame reddick. He needed to ride the hot hand/lineup there. I belive it was Bron, Marcus, Vando, Hayes and someone else that brought the game really close, timeout occurs, Luka check backs in, offense stagnates, Lakers back down 10, Bron starts running the ball again, Lakers back to within 3, Luka fails to rotate and gives up the Collin’s three dagger. Doesn’t hit Bron on the open cut or shoot the open shot on the last real possession. JJ should know that Bron is our best closer and if the lineup was cooking, let it ride. Completely killed our momentum.
I just wish Luka didn’t hesitate on that shot 🙁
Having just these two alone easily should be more than enough to win games on a team but the problem is they have below average role players around them
VANDO and Timme. We clearly need more time from them. Also I love Marcus.
Dude, on paper Rui didnt have a bad game but there was instances where he had an open 3 and couldve changed the momentum of the game and he missed them every single time.
Rui, Vincent, Kleber and Knekt need to be traded

Lakers getting blown out by Mavs in Dallas next game will be the lowest point in the season. Can’t recover from that. Mavs are playing so much angrier than this disinterested lineup.

Wasted these 2 games you said. But tbh theu scored points but both were not really efficiënt. Both were anout 50% ts. While the team overall was about 54% ts. Thats not great so it’s not like we wasted some monster games from them. Luka with 11 rebounds and 8 assists 3 steals and only 1 gave him a decent overall game. Lebron with 5 and 6 and 4 turnovers is a below average game. Not hating tbf this happens playing against a good defensive team and player like kawhi it happens. Nobody was really efficiënt today. That happens and is why we needed a comeback on the first place. It happens we played an amazing second half just came short.
