1. I was at the game and it was very good game. But I don't put this on Talbot, he played great, instead, it was very noticeable that Ed wasn't dressed because his replacement Harmonic was scary awful when on the ice relative to the rest of the players.

   Todd McLellan is a literal demon and I hope Kane asks for a trade. This 'random' demotion happened when Kane was within 7 points of the US points record, and within 2 goals of 500. At a time when Kane's 5v5 line was winning 14-1 in 12 games together. At a time when Kane had been a point a game in over 70 games played since McLellan's hiring. What McLellan is doing to Patrick Kane makes what Mike Babcock did to guys look like nothing. The most evil stuff I've ever seen an NHL head coach do. Ever. Nothing else even close.

8. Harmonic getting the snowball effect rant from some fans looking to blame someone lol. He played fine. The first penalty was an awful call. The second can happen when you get tied up. When I first saw Ed was out I expected the worst. I was pleasantly surprised.

11. Anyone notice that ESPN talked a lot about 'Soda', and he is playing noticeably better…. unlike Hamonic, aka Mr. Trippy. The game play was almost fast and intense as a playoff game, and the Wings did hold their own …almost.
    And man, that Hughes dude can skate and puck handle like a man possessed.
    But all nitpicking aside, the Wings are in first place again. Think about that … first place, compared to years past.

12. Hamonic has got to be cut/waived. He's absolutely terrible and a liability. Last night showed Yzerman that he has to address blueline.

19. Why don't we just ditch Talbot and get a second good goalie? Gibson is like 15 or 16-2 since December, while Talbot seems to get us a loss every time he's in. I get so nervous every time we start him

20. Simon Edvinson matters ..his presence was missing ..the RedWings need to add another D that is interchangeable with the 1st or 2nd pairing D..man…I would love to see one more gritty player that can score ugly goals for a playoff run..

21. Hamonic wasn't great, but the refs were out for blood tonight.

22. So, watching Hughes last night as he played 30 minutes, and made the Wings look like little boys chasing a man around the ice, should put all the Seider for Norris Trophy talk to rest. The Wings couldn't catch him, couldn't hit him, and couldn't contain him. That was an overwhelming performance by Hughes! There is Hughes and Makar, and then a second teir of about 20 defensemen, and then, who cares after that.

23. I was annoyed as hell when that basketball game went to ot because i knew exactly what was gonna happen. College basketball at that.

26. The 3rd goal Talbot gave up was brutal. Should have never gone to OT. Can't help but wonder if Gibson/Edvinsson was out there it might have been a different outcome.

29. Olympic break show idea-
    I am a frustrated fan in Kentucky. Not frustrated at the team. Frustrated because it’s hard to be a geographically removed die hard fan. You mentioned the difficulty even you local guys have watching the games. Imagine being in a non puck active state.
    My brother (GA) myself and adult kids (KY) and my cousin (MI) all huge fans for years. We attend games in person every year. Travel to Hockey Town, Nashville, Dallas all to see games. Spend the $$$ on fan gear. Have spent the $$$ on NHL network in the past just to be blacked out because my local network should be picking up the game. Local…. Really? It’s very difficult to see Nashville, Columbus, St Louis games because they are considered local to me in KY. WTF? We attempted FanDuel but we are not local enough to Detroit to subscribe. We tried using our cousin address still got denied. We rely on Hulu and HBO but you guys see the shortfalls there too. I have even reached out to NHL and RW via email to ask politely how I can spend hard earned $$$ to be a better fan and of course no response.
    I know there are other means that are questionable but after a day of work I just want to turn on the game and not fiddle w those processes.
    My question and idea is for you guys to have a conversation about this. The NHL is trying. But not hard enough. I see soccer everywhere and that’s great, they show it can be done. The NHL did a good job w 4 nations etc. I just want to have the easy button to see ALL my teams games! Not be put in the dark ages and have to listen to the broadcast like I did last night and 4 other nights this season.
    Do you know anyone in RW or NHL media or PR you could have on as a guest?
