Raiders: Is he worth A LOOK? Raiders coaching candidate Mike LaFleur!
Las Vegas Raiders Head Coach Candidate: Mike LaFleur
Previewing Raiders coaching candidate Mike LaFleur the top three candidates seem to be Klint Kubiak, Davis Webb, and Jesse Minter. While Minter is a defensive minded coach, he can likely bring in a strong offensive minded coach from his connections with former Ravens and Michigan staffers. Additionally, the consensus around the NFL right now is the Raiders are more than willing to wait till after this weekend’s conference championships and if needed, the Super Bowl to hire a head coach. One name not mentioned by Schultz, but has risen in recent days is Rams OC Mike LaFleur. Lets take a look at the Raiders three reported finalists, their potential coaching staffs, and much more:

GM Wasted. I think we got our guy but I don’t wanna give us the malocchio 🤘
I’m not high on LaFluer, he hasn’t accomplished anything besides be under McVay and Shanahan tree. When he got his chance he failed miserably 🤷🏾♂️. I wouldn’t hate if we hired him, but definitely prefer other offensive coaches. Hell his own brother didn’t even hire him 😂😂
I just woke up here in Vegas and it's a different feel these days.#1.. good morning and salute to wasted, I love these early morning show here in the West Coast…
I'm glad our front office is taking their time and doing their due diligence. Too many times in the past we were treated like the Browns are being treated or we chose someone who shouldn't be coaching. For all we know is if a certain candidate was immediatwly available to hire, we would have. My only worry is we wait for Kubiak, Seattle throws a bag at him to keep him as the OC, and we miss out on our #2. Brady and Spytek are competent and competitive. I have faith that they have a game plan and they will make the right decision at the right time. There still a few qualified candidates out there. #1 Kubiak #2 LaFleur. Just please not Webb.
Thanks! I appreciate you.

We make our hire on Monday. Either Kubiak or Mike Lafleur will come free to hire and most likely Davis Webb. Let’s just grab Davis Webb and that’s it
I’m telling you right now, if Spytec fails to hire the right guy, he will get fired. I believe he has 4 years left on his contract, which means him and the HC will get fired at the same time. I get the whole bring in a offensive mind to pair with Mendoza concept but at the end of the day, we need a freakin HC. I think they wanted Minter but he got cold feet and ran to the Ravens, which I cant blame at all. It has to be either Webb or Kubiak as the top two imo. Some are saying Joe Brady but I dont think we even requested an interview. With the Bills job open, Kubiak may go there or stay with Seattle we dont know. I think taking Webb might be a year or two prematurely but so be it. Hire a vet offensive assistant and make him the OC. Bring in Morris as the DC.
Mike Lefleur is a better candidate than Davis Webb. Davis Webb will be another in a long line of Raiders that have to learn on the job. This gamble failed miserably with AP and now Davis Webb is being mentioned as a candidate. The Raiders never learn.
For me and these last guys is who’s their staff
I don’t see the appeal with lafluer his offense on the jets was not good
Keep it up wasted. Real content.
Whoever they hire needs to have an experienced o-line coach in mind.
What you think about Rob Leonard as our DC?
NO TO LEFLEUR. !!
I'm nore interested in Chris Shula, who has been with McVay since he started with the Rams in 2017. With all the coaches that have gotten jobs after working under McVay, I'd imagine he has a large enough network to put together a competent staff. What I like about Shula is he's also worked his way up on McVay's staff for the past 8 years.
You are the first one I’ve seen to give more details on this coach. Thanks 🙏🏾… I don’t know, maybe I’m too old school as whomever we get, I want the coach to have some type of fire 🔥 that is typical of the Raider mindset. It doesn’t have to be loud or boisterous but …something bold and confident… I’m not feeling it with any of the top candidates. Hope I’m making sense… BTW, I know it’s unlikely but I’d love for them out of curiosity to interview Patrick Graham just to pick his brain regarding the team and his thoughts on getting it to the next level. I have much respect for him.
I'd be okay with him
Hell no to laflur would rather take there passgame cordinater millhouse for our OC.
Let’s hire both kubiak Clint he clay oc and a solid dc
Lafleur would be dope. Dude has experience working with Shanahan and McVay. He doesn’t call plays much, but set offensive records when McVay was out. If he stays in LA, it will likely be a result of McVay giving him more play calling responsibilities…but the Raiders should be banging down his door.
I would feel much better with him than Davis Webb, at least right now. Webb would be a welcome addition to the staff, but I feel we need a coach with more experience at this time in our organizational development. Going from backup QB to HC is a journey that has never been made in 3-4 years.
It's apparent to me that Carroll set this team back a year by not trying to build a team as Spytek intended and instead made decision to try and win now. I'm still pissed that Spy let quality players leave like Spills Jacoby and Chaisson, but he's free of the Carrolls now and needs to build the smart way.
