2. The team was playing better without Brady, trade him for a superstar like Timmy. Brady is no superstar.

7. When are we going to fix the fucking PK and stop doing this diamond bullshit? It hasn't worked all year, how much more do the coaches need to see? Teams pre-scout our PK and lick their chops because they can create 2v1s OR EVEN 2v0s like O'Reilly to Stamkos last night! How tf do you expect to win with that?

8. "This is a good team". obviously not. If they were a good team they would be where they are in the standings. The team is the whole team, including goaltending.

14. Hey LOSP, great episode! Nice to have a fresh take, i will say some room for optimism there. I'm really glad you brought up Brady. I have a new perspective on Brady and believe it or not it came from a leaf fan who convinced me. Stay with me here this I think is a really important perspective. So we stick with Brady for now, because maybe trading him sends the wrong message, maybe it tells other players this team is too fragile and this franchise is always in chaos such that star players want out. I've been thinking about this the wrong way. Ive been focused on what we can get for Brady because I think his skill is overrated, which I think still stands up given the in game results. But, what I haven't thought about enough is what message it sends, to lose a player like Brady who is a league darling. Brady is a positive marketing tool for this club and it's an important tool for the franchise to improve its reputation around the league and get off those no trade lists. The two ways we do that are 1. Win games and 2. Keep star players. Now we are coming up to a serious period of time here because IF Brady re signs with the Senators then it could breathe new life into this franchise and the fan base. Brady Resigning is like a vote of confidence that this ownership, this franchise, doesn't deserve its reputation. BUT if he does not re-sign, that could be the death of our franchise at this point. That would mean reputational harm plus missing out on the return. I'm genuinely worried about that second scenario but I have changed my opinion on Brady now. We need to keep him at all costs. He NEEDs to resign here for this franchise to survive and have a chance at changing its reputation. I vastly underestimated his marketing value and that's a mistake. Interested what you guys think about this take. I think the risks are huge but at the same time I feel like we have no choice but to hang on to Brady or die as a franchise.

15. At this point seeing management accept these performances and major issues with pk, goal, defense, no positive identity… the gm is also being questioned about how important winning really is… its like the melnyk days again

16. Spence was not a good move, he wasn’t what the Sens needed,they needed a big physical third pair Dman. Kesserling would have been the perfect fit!!!

17. I’m not writing the season off yet, only because I’m going to both games this weekend

18. The Sens need to come into these games more crabby than the opposition.
