45. It sucks for Chiefs Kingdom no matter where he goes, to a tough division rival or a tough conference rival. Especially given how effective his scheme with Hill and Waddle was against Spags’ defense. Yep, his 4-14 record against .500+ teams will be the key to taking down the Chiefs, Bengals and Ravens. Oh, and the Patriots, Bronks, and probably the Giants. And huge relief that Minter is gone — he was on the verge of sending the Chargers to the next level. Dodge a bullet there. Heck, firing McDermott immediately gave me hope for what is likely a long and difficult Chiefs season next year. Keep opening that door, fellow AFC powerhouses!
