  1. It’s his life so he can make his own choices but if he gets another concussions and suffers debilitating CTE injuries, I don’t want to hear people blaming Bettman or the league safety.

  2. Can only hope for the best for him! It’s a bit harsh but given we’re in a rebuild it’d be cool if he can stay healthy for a run of games and get himself traded out of here for something of value

  3. I wish him the best but I can’t imagine he’s in the lineup for long. Bro gets concussed by a stiff breeze.

  4. Oh no here comes the reddit concussion experts that know specific details on Chytil’s concussion diagnostics!

  5. This guy needs a concussion cap like they have in the nfl. I’m scared watching him play.

  6. best case for him he makes us better and might spoil the tank

worst case for him is another injury

let’s just keep him out for the season please

  7. Hey, it’s happening. Let’s hope he stays healthy and continue his career / life. This has to be the final straw for him to live out his dream as an NHL player. Keep your head up and kick ass, we’re cheering for you Fil.

  8. I’m nervous for the guy but guys also an adult and should make the decision. This all he knows.

That being said, if he does end up getting laid out , I really hope someone fights for him or does something. Maybe im just getting older, but I feel like hes owed that especially in a team sport. I get my reasoning makes zero sense and im trying to volunteer guys to fight, but I feel like hes owed that.

  9. Surprised they didn’t put him on the wing to ease him back into it. He’d be a good center for boeser to get him going again.

Glad he’s made it back to hockey. You only live once.

I hope he has learned that he can’t fly through the middle anymore, and adjusted his game to do so. He’s so good at it… but it’s not worth the risk.

  10. I think it’s crazy but it’s also his life & he knows the risks. It’s hard to walk away from something you love.

  11. This seems incredibly stupid… 3 major concussions in the last 62 games he’s played..

  12. I hope he has a long and healthy career from here on out. Seems like a really good guy and clearly loves puck to keep coming back through all of the injuries he’s had so far.
