  1. Appreciate your efforts, but the Giants aren't signing anyone else or making trades. My single hope was that they acquire Nico Hoerner, but I ain't holding my breath. He would have provided us a leadoff hitter and speed at the top of the lineup. His skills are vitally important to field a competitive team.

  6. you are saying that the rangers didn't give up 'any of their guys on the top 100' but they gave up their #2 ranked prospect. That means that thy just didn't give up their top prospect and they had no other prospects ranked in the top 100. that is basically opening up everyone outside of the giant's top 5 prospects on the list

  8. Giving up draft picks doesn't seem like as big a deal in baseball as it is in football. Drafting is so much more hit-and-miss in baseball, and development takes much longer. Really high draft picks mean more though.

  10. I think it's pretty obvious that teams don't win a World Series with group think and in fact I want a GM who is operating above the level of group think. For historical context the St. Louis Browns under the eccentric ownership of Mick Veek tried an publicity stunt where the fans of a certain section operated as manager by voting on what the team should do by holding up signs with different plays and strategies. And that experiment was abandoned pretty quickly!!

  11. Stop it with the delusional trade and free agent speculations already! The Giants ARE NOT going to make any big moves. We are stuck with what we got. Period.
