I feel for Kyle, he cares so much and puts in so much, you can see the wear on him throughout the years. I want him to win a Super Bowl with us, not just for selfish reasons, but so he can get that monkey off his back.
Now that we have Purdy locked in I for sure want him to have top tier weapons and oline, I just hope Shanahan feels the same way…

Dude does not like chairs. I dream of the day he’s being hoisted up on shoulders.
He has been a little unlucky with the timing of his 49ers team being good. Like the chiefs were beatable before the first time he got to the Superbowl, but then they upgraded their oline heavily. The 2nd time was right before the chiefs cap situation needed them to start getting rid of some of their oline talent.
Like the eagles got the chiefs right when the chiefs were juggernauts and then the second time they got them, the chiefs oline was injured the fuck up.
If shanahan had his team be juggernauts and uninjured like a year later than he did, he probably wins the Superbowl. Sigh… It’s like this year, the Seahawks and the Rams get a good team but every other team is kinda…. It is just luck sometimes.
Kyle is probably the most hands on of any coach in the NFL. He has more on his plate than anyone else. I don’t know that Andy or McVay ever had to step in regarding the defense. Maiocco hinted that during Wilks’s tenure when things were going south, Kyle was involved in developing the gamplans. While Brock is good, McVay has a veteran QB in Stafford and Andy has the best QB of this generation.
He is going to burn out at this pace. Kyle is not blameless though. He needs to consider doing things differently. That means being open to a coordinator running the defense with a different scheme and adjusting the strategy for team/roster construction.
Maybe it’s time to move on. Lost 2 Super Bowls and 2 NFC championship games. Maybe he’s not the guy. Just saying.
March 11th at 1pm is the start of a new league year. That’s when the free agency and trade stuff will begin
The toughest few weeks of the season are coming. Toots or Lambs everywhere in the Bay. Remember don’t do anything that’ll land you in jail. Not worth it, Faithfaul.
I am so anxious about this off season moreso than before. I think it is because I think next year, if by some miracle we stay healthy, it may be is our last best shot to win it all with this combo of stars with Juice, Bosa, Warner, Trent, Kittle, CMC and Purdy. We do have some glaring gaps we need to address on the team so this offseason we got to get the signings, draft picks and trades right.

I know he catches a lot of shit, but damn this man is the only reason we are relevant. He needs the Super Bowl more than anyone. You can see how much it weighs on him. An entire fan base counting on you? I couldn’t do it. I hope 26 is the year.
Probably been sitting like that on the floors of NFL locker rooms since he was a kid.
