2026 NFL coaching news: Philip Rivers, Mike McDaniel to interview for Bills HC job; Ravens hire Jesse Minter as head coach
January 23, 2026
I kinda hope McDaniels takes the Bills HC job just so that we can all be happy it didn't happen to us.

Didn’t the chargers already announce Mike McDaniel’s hiring?
philip rivers? lol ok so is he for real done playing?
Honestly might be for the best we didn’t hire McDaniel. I would be having fits and flashbacks of having our OC agree to a contract just to head out an leave us with our thumbs up our ass as he interviews for HC positions he is likely to take.
This has been an interesting coaching cycle. The Eagles can’t seem to get any big names willing to take their OC job, the Browns (lmao) keep getting turned down, the Dolphins seemed to just choose a random name. Who the hell have the Cardinals even interviewed? Harbaugh lasted all of three days on the open market.
Much as I still wish we had done it…I don’t truly mind keeping Bowles, if only because I don’t want to get into pissing matches with orgs like the Steelers and Bills for the good and proven commodities.
McDaniel would drive Allen into the dirt trying to force him to play hero ball and subsequently lose his job and ruin his own career, at least as HC.
As a bucs fan in buffalo, it would be funny to watch. Bills sub 500 next year, Sean was NOT a good fire.
Chargers fans must be going out of their minds right now with McDaniel interviewing for these HC positions after committing to be their OC. I know it’s in the contract that he’s allowed to do that, but damn, I’d be consuming a lot of alcohol right now if I were them.
Yea they’re gonna delete this
I want to see a head coach come off the sidelines to throw touchdowns in the snow the playoffs. Philip Rivers for sure should get this.
