[Nagler] The Packers can speak with Leonhard regardless of whether the Broncos win or lose on Sunday. If Denver does indeed head to the Super Bowl, the Packers simply have to have the initial interview between January 26th-February 1st.

  1. We’re going to waste all our time waiting for Leonhard, only for him to take the Denver or NYG DC job instead and we will be left with no good candidates. I can see it a mile away.

  2. He added this in a follow up tweet

    > Something to keep in mind – last time around, LaFleur cast a wide net and there were a lot of reports about who he was interviewing but the first time many heard Jeff Hafley’s name connected to the gig was the initial report that he was being hired. GB likes to move in silence.

  3. Leonhard has to be one of the top guys/the #1 at this point. Christian Parker is off the board, Flores too (although that wasn’t likely to happen). I hope they make a move soonish

  4. This makes as much sense as TJ Watt falling into our lap.

    This time, we’re getting him.

  5. Didn’t Leonhard turn us down last time…? Like what’s stopping him from doing that again?

  6. I’ve come around on the idea of JL getting the job. His schemes were very good at UW and very much based on how defense is played at the pro level. Obviously it would be a great vibes hire, but Jim has the chops to actually succeed.
