To put Charlotte's efficiency in perspective: A Hornets putback is currently more valuable than a wide-open three-pointer. A 'wide-open' three typically generates ~1.15-1.25 points per possession. The Hornets are producing 1.38 on putbacks.
Not only that (which is arguably more insane) the Hornets are doing this while leading the league in Offensive Rebounds (12.4) and simultaneously setting the record for efficiency.
I also pulled some additional charts that show PPP for top offenses and Hornets players…. You can see how huge of an impact Moose and Kalk are towards these numbers. Brandon Miller is also surprisingly efficient on high volume.

This to me highlights why I would never consider trading Moose under any circumstances because hes so deadly in this regard
I thought that 2nd chart was interesting as well outside of Hornets takeaways:
Bostons offense is WILD: Most teams have 1 elite category, Celtics have 4. They lead top 10 in efficiency in Transition (1.32), Spot Ups (1.22), Off-Screen (1.25) and Handoffs (1.25)
JOKIC doing Jokic things – Denver is essentially the only team that is hyper-efficient in the post.
Spurs and Nuggest are leaps and bounds more efficient on cuts than any other top 10 offense.
Turns out grabbing a rebound under your basket IS, in fact, more efficient than running the other way.
Shocking news to professional coaching staffs in 2026.
