Idk why they have to be so soft shooting the empty net. You had all that time to shoot the damn puck yet you wanted to just barely put any effort in. If I was the coach, Hathaway would be sitting out next game for sure!
Fire Tocchet. Launch Hathaway into the sun. Blows my mind that he is in the lineup, defending a 1g lead late AND getting more time than Michkov. It truly is unbelievable.

The first play- strip away before an empty net shot- is proof the players were following the game script- No body , No one in The NHL is going to take that extra 1.5 seconds and get that close to an empty net.
