How come is the media so b quick to tear everything down. Why get rid of miles? That just stupid. Finally have a good starting lineup and you guys want to break it apart so we can start rebuilding all over again.

Walker your opinion has been compromised because of your relationship with the team. Shockingly Doug gave an unbiased take last pod and I have to give him props for tht. Melo not starting is criminal point blank period. In the words of the great Herm Edwards “You play to win the game” period.

Just wanna point out that Brandon Miller is 24th out of 193 qualifying players in dFG% across players that have had atleast 300 shot attempts taken against them this season. And he’s allowing like 43.3% shooting. He’s turning into an elite defender

My position on the Melo bench thing is that I'm mostly cool with it, just would have been nice to make a slight exception for the Cavs game. Seeing them blow out teams or come back from being down big is encouraging. And on the calls to fire Lee- one of the Hornets' problems in the past was straight up instability. Firing a coach every five minutes will lead to that.
Getting a pick from Milwaukee or Golden State isn’t the worst idea. I rather the hornets not take money they don’t want.
I would like to see the hornets keep their core through the end of the season. The only people I would consider moving by the deadline is Mann, Connaughton and Plumlee (maybe for draft capital). Let’s see where we land in the draft and try to target another center and a true point guard to back up Lamelo. I’m open to Colin returning but I don’t think we’ll have the money to do that since he’s a free agent. If we move Colin at the trade deadline, we better get another backup point guard. Scion is not a point guard. Haven’t been following KJ so I don’t know if he is ready.
If they trade MB, it better be a win now, or 3 year window to win move. No trade for picks. No more kicking the competitive can down the road.

Getting rid of Mark Williams for nothing killing this team. His defensive metrics are crazy good this year. You had that dude and then got rid of him. He would be a monster on this team😮🤫😂
Miles is untouchable. He was part of the "core 4" not that long ago. Now it's the core 3, not including Miles? Wow.
For a team that’s not even .500 there’s a lot of folks attached to this roster. Miller and Kon are the only two untouchables. Everyone else should be considered if it can help the roster. With as well as the last draft went, I’m more comfortable trading for futures if someone wants to overpay for MB. This isn’t a playoff team as currently built despite the positive signs.
Gianiss with Melo, Kon and Brandon would be something scary to see.. Outside of that, the FO should try to improve the bench and let the starters develop this season, then just go get their guy in draft & repeat..
