When you cowgirls crying at the end of the year because your defense is ranked 30th from an inexperienced play caller you will find out what the eagles have dealt with for 2 years with first time play callers on offense. Don’t get me wrong, he is awesome CB coach but he has a long way to go to be DC. Keep your one star rating. Eagles will win NFC east again next year

  3. He’s gonna be running a lot of 3 man rushes which means our run defense will be top notch just watch he’s a universal type of defensive coach cover 3 cover 1 cover 6 cover 4 2 high man and a lot of simulated pressures from different angles on defense

  4. Great hire for our team. That said I think we need to pump our breaks and expectations just a little. I think we'll see some growth and better play from our defense this upcoming season. But one thing I caution is be patient because we were literally the worst or close to the worst defense in the league, and that wasn't all on Flus. If we want to succeed our front offense needs to be aggressive in FA and nail the draft to give CP a real chance to turn this thing around. You don't go from the worst to the best in one season. So we'll need to be patient and see where we are. But again FA and the draft is crucial because the defense as constructed ain't it. How bout them Cowboys

Yeah, Shannon and Ocho need to STFU, acting like the draft isn't 3 months away, acting like FA isn't coming up, acting like Dallas doesn't have the POTENTIAL already here, cannot STAND listening to them, especially when Ocho trying to get Pickens to go to a different team, he makes me sick. Eagles fans are in shambles over this, Philly media is reporting about how big of a loss this is for them, I mean, the players are even vouching for Parker, people need to just STFU or actually LEARN ball before they speak. Period. Im sick of this garbage man, if it had been Green Bay that got him, they'd be hyping them up all over again. It's only because it's Dallas. Pathetic.

  16. Dude, please calm down. You were excited after week 1 in '23 & '24 & how did that defense pan out? Just because he had success in one place, doesn't mean he'll have success here. It's also about the players he had/have. Our LBs are not good, just like our secondary is not good. Instead of trying to hype up this coach, let's see what type of players they pick up. We haven't had a legit defense since the 90s.

I'm gonna say this now.. if we get Hendrickson, or Crosby, or someone similar to those 2 via trade and get another good veteran LB and we draft a CB that is pretty decent and get a Safety… we're in good shape this coming season, and in really good shape the year after. This defense will be top 10 before the next 2 seasons are over with.

  26. Man he deserves this 💯. We all know that these players were uncomfortable with Eberflus and what he so called meant… Jerry screwed himself and the team with that signing. Schottey now has someone he can rely on to help this defense get back to the glory days.

  28. Never understand cowboy fans. Complain about the hiring process and retreading old HCs in DC roles. Which consistently hasnt worked in the last decade plus outside Quinn and even his defense cratered.

    New fresh ideas is what this defense needs. It worked in the Offense, I believe fully it will work on the defense.
