I was talking crazy beginning of the season but he has improved in all aspects what’s he’s ceiling

His ceiling? Elite defender, 33-35% from 3, solid cutting and off ball movement, improved passing. Things he already does pretty well but will likely still improve

Toumani is easily one of the best 3 or 4 players on the team, his defense is incredible especially for his age and he can easily do that while scoring pretty damn efficiently.
Toumani is the type of player that if you had 3-4 of him on a team it would vastly improve the team, meanwhile if you had 3-4 Lillard’s it would likely cause some problems, though obviously scoring wise that would be unreal.
Right hand a lot better than I thought it was
Those jab steps that lead to turnovers kill me sometimes though ngl lol
Offensively this is what I think he is, but he’s capable of 1st team All-Defense (basically our Dyson Daniels).
Ceiling is prime Tayshaun Prince.
Hate to bring up the 2004, “Goin’ To Work” Pistons, because of their then leader (i.e. our last coach)… but that team is what this Blazer team is shaping up to be, at their best and in our fantasy minds. 🙂
The next big thing for him to work on is his off the dribble finishing, if he gets that down pat hell be worth quite a lot with still a lot of great years ahead of him
I had someone early on in the year try to argue with me that Toumani was a 6th/7th man at best in the NBA.
This guy called himself a Blazer fan.
He has been better but I still need more for me to truly say he’s our franchise wing. I said this a while ago but either 38% from three or became better at attacking closeouts which at the moment he’s doing neither.
Ceiling is Mikal Bridges. Elite 3&D with good passing
Scottie Pippen
I love Tou, and he struggled to start the year. He has really done well lately.
I think Toumani’s ceiling is somewhere between Jerome Kersey and Clifford Robinson.
He’s the next Kawhi Leonard.
His ceiling is OG Anunoby but he needs to improve a ton on ball for him to get there. I will say compared to Deni, Clingan and Shae he hasn’t taken the meteoric leap I would have hoped but there’s still time for where we are at in the process (especially given how we have extra picks so we can afford to wait even if this is who he is).
How could you talk trash about him. Don’t know ball??
No worries, I’m sure you’ll find someone new to complain about!
I’ve always seen his potential ceiling as like Ron Artest w/ better shooting. I’m not saying he’ll reach that level of impact, but I see that as his ceiling. I’ve always believed in his 3 ball, ever since I dug deep into him right after the Dame trade. He got off to a cold start this year. He’s also upped his volume though & has taken a lot more 3’s off the dribble than last year. He’s shot really well in December & January. I expect a larger sample size to do him justice. Much like Sharpe & his awful first 4 games of the season that drags his numbers down.
