Rumor: Cavs rejected an offer including a 1st round pick for Hunter. If true, how do we feel?

  1. Need to see the team offering, it was probably a top tier team, don’t need an extra second round pick when we can get guys to tank their stock like Proctor to join us.

  2. With how the league has been giving either 4 first round picks for a solid player or giving jack shit for an elite player, this wouldn’t shock me if it was true, but even then I still have my doubts.

  3. I mean he is a big, athletic wing that can (could) shoot. He’s put up numbers. I’m sure he has some fans around the league. I’m sure it wasn’t attached to anything you’d want back, if it is real though.

  4. I highly doubt it. Considering our limited draft capital and moving off of Hunter’s deal would really help us get out of the 2nd apron, I would be shocked if we didn’t take that offer

  5. It was clear over the offseason changes needed to be made. Celtics did it a few years ago, smartly, and it won them a chip. Cavs front office was unable/unwilling to make it’s own changes, and it’s cost them dearly. This news is sad if true, but its consistent with their actions/inaction and the reporting that has come out, so it’s unsurprising.

  6. I like Hunter. I’m cool with it. This year is wonky and I think if we are healthy we are top of the east again.
