[Russini] Mike McDaniel pulled out of his scheduled meeting down in Florida with the Bills yesterday, I’m told, and the two sides never met. McDaniel remains in contention for the Raiders’ head coaching job, but if he takes an OC position, it’s still expected to be with the Chargers.

  7. Nah he won’t coach our team. Dude is too smart to coach us. At this point he already made up his mind. His goal is to be the HC of the Punal after Hardballs retire in 2 years

  8. I watched a video where Kurt Warner analyzed the problems in McDaniel‘s offensive scheme and that wasn’t pretty. But were those choices caused by Tua‘s limitations after the injury or were they on McDaniel? This is a though one.

  9. I would still be fine with McDaniel, but I feel like at this point we should wait two more days and at least speak with Kubiak and LaFleur on monday. See if they are interested and what their vision is. If McDaniel is still available then, great, chose the one of the three you like best. If not, it’s okay. We shouldn’t be pressured into a decision after waiting that long.

  13. Screams red flag, dude just isn’t professional, was probably a reason why Miami players were always doing dumb stuff each season, not a good mix with Las Vegas

  14. I would trust McDaniel to unlock Jeanty and Raiders run game more than Kubiak or Webb. Does that make him best choice for head coach? Not sure
