If you were a Head Coach candidate, which team would you choose? Assuming all these are still open (they’re not)

  1. lol browns have the ugliest logo, worst QB and least capspace. Get Rekd losers. Mistake by the lake.

  2. A chance to work with Josh Allen would have to be at the top. Raiders would be tempting if their ownership wasn’t a complete mess.

  3. Raiders, they’re the best team to “make my own” and rebuild to my liking. Imagine having the #1 pick with that cap space? With the right moves the Raiders could be contenders IMMEDIATELY.

  4. Ravens #1

    Bills #2

    Steelers #3

    Cardinals #4

Checking to see if my local high school needs an assistant

    Raiders #5

Browns #6 (only to ensure that whomever has my family captive doesn’t do anything rash).

  5. For a young offensive coach, I would honestly go with the raiders. You got 100m in cap space and guaranteed Mendoza. Bills look like an organizational disaster. Lamar depends on mobility and just had a ton of injuries, Henry is aging. You can build up the line and acquire some receivers with that cap space. You already have bowers and Jeanty.

  6. Honestly Buffalo is way to high. Having Josh Allen is obviously great but the ownership is terrible. Admitting to bullying the GM into making bad decisions on draft day doesn’t bode well for any coach looking for success.

  7. Raiders look great until you realize what a dumpster fire the franchise has been since 2003.

  8. I think the QB portion of this is far less relevant for the Steelers than other teams. If you get that job, you know it’s going to be for a LONG time, including being part of developing the next QB.

    – Ravens Lamar has already begun his decline
    – Bills … that press conference shows you what you’re dealing with
    – Raiders.. No stability guarantee, crazy owner
    – Atlanta – No stability guarantee
    – Browns – Is the Browns

  9. Why is Rodgers on here? Hes on a one year contract.

If I weren’t a die hard Steelers fan Vegas is pretty appealing because of the cap space and the number 1 draft pick.

Steelers would be in second or third place behind Ravens for me because of Lamar.

  10. My first reaction was “how the F are the browns over cap and still this awful” and then I remembered. And then I lol’ed.

  11. Crucify me all you want, but the Ravens were the best opening. They have the most competent owner with the best facilities and pretty good team. I just don’t trust Art Rooney II.

  12. Most coveted would be the STEELERS. History, fan base, etc. After that, Vegas baby! 100m to work with and better weather than the other places.

  13. Ravens or Steelers.

Ravens have the pieces and their division is ass. Steelers have a long leash for head coaches that other places don’t.

Bills are likely regressing next season with the coaching shakeups and every other team on this list will fire you in three seasons unless you pull off a miracle.

  14. I feel like Steelers and Ravens are at the top for a HC. Ownership being the main reason. You’ll get leeway and job security but I think the Rooneys need to whip out the check book on some other stuff the players and new coaches need. We cant just keep leaning on good tradition and culture from decades past that hasn’t been maintained to the current climate of the NFL. We need better facilities, more coaching staff, we need to think about the fringe in the offer not just job security, especially if that limits the pool of potential candidates.

  15. I’d 100% pick the ravens, there’s a ready to go roster right now, the pressure is on, but you’re only having to bandage not break things

  16. Ravens first. Pittsburgh second.

I dont want to live in Buffalo and Josh Allen won’t always be there, plus the cap situation….

No desire to live in Arizona.

  17. Pretty sure Rodgers only signed 1yr deal and if a FA now so Pittsburgh QB1 is either Mason Rudolph or Will Howard. I would say Raiders might be best opp – have a ok RB and great TE, lots of cap space to rebuild what is missing

  18. Shit bag ownership is the most important thing.

Cap and picks can be fixed but a shit bag that won’t invest in the roster or the health of the team can’t be fixed.

The cards, raiders, and Bengals are the slumlord NFL owners.

If they don’t employ gaggles of scouts or don’t invest in scouting heavily you have no shot.

When you employ 12 or less you can’t get the rookies coming in scouted as well as the waiver wire players and free agents are done by NFL scouts.

The Bengals have 8 the cards have 6 and the raiders have 12. Scouts on staff. Last I checked.

The eagles and 49ers have more than twice as many in the scouting department. And it shows.

That is how you pick a team.
