  1. The local governments need to study than man. The guardians must be torturing him in some kind of Drew Carey show exposure chamber

  2. He could easily have played elsewhere and gotten more money and had more success but he’s the one guy in any sport who chose to stay in Cleveland.

  3. Lots of respect for the Guards. The pain of 10 years ago is gone, hopefully we get a Jays Guards ALCS

  4. 30m’s a year for 7 years is more than he’ll be able to spend in his lifetime. Cool that he sees that and chooses to stay where he likes it.

  5. No raise. And in turn, the team will make no commitment to signing or retaining any talent. Wild.

  6. Man, Cleveland really got an amazing one. I’m happy for them. What a treat to have such an incredible player

  7. The guy found a place where he loves to play, where the fans love him, and where he loves to raise his family. All the power to him. Happy for the guy.
