  1. How do you combat the soft tissue/muscle tears Flyers goalies have been plagued with for years? More stand up play, as opposed to constant butterfly? Goalies never stack the pads I've noticed. You can't cut down angles by coming out when you're sprawled out in the crease. Kolosov should be a goalie that moves aggressively, but someone said he was hanging back in the crease his last game.

  2. Typical overachievers win.

Flyers wish they were the AVS. AVS have elite talent, Flyers have no elite talent and only won because the AVS played their backup goalie as most great teams do vs weak teams.

Ducks, Sharks, Canadiens, Hawks, Sabres will win cups before Flyers ever get elite talent.

Don't tank and win meaningless games, stay average for another 50 years.

  3. Iโ€™ve been a big hater in tippet but even thru that losing streak he was standing out to me whether be hitting or just making some gritty plays in the corners getting a scoring streak. Iโ€™ve been impressed by tippet more this year. The team is young and they are learning game in and game out. Really liked the fight tonight. Sam has been really good thru this road game! Itโ€™s really been a good road trip.

  4. What a shocker! Glad for the win boyz. But to be fair, if Ers wasn't outstanding in the first period, game would have been over early. I think, team used Ers early effort as a motivator.

  5. Why do good teams understand where the NHL success component lies today- speed, speed, and more speed and Flyer's administration doesn't. The 4th line of Colorado had more quickness and speed than Flyer's 1st line. In today's game, you finish second most of the time if you're slow. As per yesterday game, I'm glad Flyer's came out to play in the 3rd and took it to Colorado. Wasn't it for Colorado's weak goaltending I don't believe we would have won.
