Matthew Stafford Making ANOTHER Super Bowl Would DESTROY The Detroit Lions!

  1. This is a tough year to sit on the sidelines. It's hard to get excited for next year. I hope Brad makes a signing that will give us some assurance that we should be excited for our team.

  2. I believe Stafford is going to win a second super bowl this year and he deserves it, he played his tail off for the worst organization in football for 12 years. This just goes to show that with some talent around him he's an all-time quarterback. Les Snead taking Brad Holmes to the woodshed on that deal shows that Les knows football and Brad Holmes is an all-time chump! Ben Johnson left Detroit and had an immediate success just how many people need to move on from Detroit and do amazing things before people come to the realization that the talent in Detroit is and always has been 100 times better than the organization. Brad and Dan have a football philosophy that's never going to work and within 2 years the Lions will be right back where they were. The Lions organization builds everything around a guy that the Rams realized was never going to be the guy. They overpaid Jared Goff and now can't afford the pieces needed to round out this football team. Until Brad and Dan are gone with their flawed philosophy the Lions have zero chance of winning it all, while other teams are building and adapting Brad and Dan are gaslighting and doubling down on this ridiculous notion that Jared Goff is tenacious enough to lead a team to a super bowl. Can't figure out why every team in the league is it lined up to make deals with Brad Holmes cuz he's easy pickins and everybody knows it.

  3. I don’t care if Stafford wins another or not. He’s not my QB anymore and it will be another stick it to some of the fanbase and the Detroit media that use to say he couldn’t win anything.

  4. It would be extremely embarrassing for the franchise. A complete joke for half a century. It would show they are still a joke. The Rams sold the farm for Stafford and they have already rebuilt better than the Lions.

  5. I 50% disagree with you. When Stafford went to the Rams, I was so happy that he won the Super Bowl because I felt like he was a proxy for all the great players that came before him in Detroit and didn’t get a sniff of the Super Bowl: Barry, Calvin, Porcher, Spielman, Doug English, and a host of others who never got to experience what Stafford did because of the ineptitude of the Detroit Lions and their management. So I was happy for all of those guys and so many more because Stafford finally got the ring.

I agree that this season if he makes it to the Super Bowl, it’s a huge indictment on the Lions management, and Sheila in particular. Because the question for her immediately becomes “do you really mean it when you say that a championship is the goal, or are the Lions just a play thing for you so you can hang out with the boys and get a game ball once in a while?“ And we’ll be able to tell based on the decisions that she makes over the next year and how closely she holds Brad Holmes feet to the fire.

I don’t think it’s the curse of Bobby Layne anymore, I think it’s the curse of William Clay Ford and the Ford family. And is Sheila Hamp the one to break it? We’ll see.

  6. Something that needs to be talked about, Brad's tenure in L.A? Being a scout, he would have had the conversation and influence from the other LA scouts. They would have been talking about the kids coming up in the draft years of 21, 22, and 23, and Brad's picks in those years was good. He no longer has that influence and His draft selections for 2024 and 25 were not so good!!

  7. Unfortunately Stafford winning another Super Bowl will do nothing to make the Lions change their ways. Brad and Dan have showed you exactly who they are these last two years and unfortunately I don’t believe Sheila will do anything to make them change 🤷🏽‍♂️

  8. He retires a Ram last couple times he was here he was treated poorly. Always liked Stafford he was never the problem they fired Jim Cadwell only decent coach he had.

  9. Love st brown he became the glue for the offense but his comment saying we don’t know football we need relax he thought we was mad know let Matthew stafford win his second Super Bowl on are watch next finna be no fun’s and game with ever player except maybe Jamir Gibbs tired of here are top draft pick not saying they want to win a championship like bruh ain’t no way you liking sitting on the couch on your podcast calling the same people crazy for coming to see u like we lost in the postseason last year off a 15-2 didn’t make bowl this being satisfied with moral victories in a locker room gotta stop, especially as a Detroit Lions where we ain’t never won nothing

  10. Rooting for Stafford. Let us not forgot he was the QB who fed Calvin the ball, so he could get into the Hall. Stafford will be in the Hall, also; another Super Bowl would seal it.

  12. That's life. He chose to leave. IMO the reason Stafford didn't win in Detroit was the Lions defense. Stafford had his chance to pull off a 4th qtr. comeback in the Dallas playoff game in 2014. Got the ball with 2 minutes to go. He fumbled twice.
The Lions will be back. The win in Chicago in week 18 spoke volumes imo. These are not the SOL. Not by a long shot. Reality and positivity folks. Have some hope or why watch? Just an opinion.

  13. Well Syndicate the Rams have a competent franchise a competent general manager a competent coaching staff and these are things THE DETROIT LIONS. are sorely lacking 😢
