7 Trade Offers For Lauri Markkanen The Jazz Wouldn’t Refuse – Fadeaway World
January 24, 2026
Lauri to me is a unicorn but one or two of these suggestions would make sense to the Jazz.

Firstly – this article reeks of AI. Secondly, why would the Jazz consider any of these even remotely seriously? Lauri IS the path back to contention. Unless there’s a real “godfather offer” (Giannis), then it’s basically a non-starter.
We’ve been tanking for 4(?) years now and it just makes no sense to get even MORE draft picks that aren’t a sure thing when we literally have a guy averaging 28 a game on our roster who doesn’t need the ball in his hands and loves Utah.
I hate all these articles that make the Jazz seem like a farm team for the rest of the league.
terrible
The blazers ones is the most interesting, but still don’t think I’d pull the trigger.
Pistons/hawks are the best after that but realistically all if them lack a premier prospect, good picks, or both. If the Jazz move Lauri, which I doubt, it would be able the quality of assets coming back, not quantity.
Pistons one is really the only one I consider. Holland and Ivey are at least good prospects for a long term thing.. Warriors missed their window, they don’t have the draft capital and throwing in Brice who is comparable to Kuminga honestly is a non starter. To move Lauri you need to get a centerpiece potential back, not guys that kinda compete with players already on the roster. Keep the unicorn, unless you’re blown away by something.. These offers aren’t it. Value is okay in a nutshell.. Prolly some more draft capital but nah
