It makes no sense to play him on a back to back in a game they were soft punting holding out Jamal and Watson.
I’m not MD, but at this stage you can’t play him back to backs until he goes a year without an issue. It’s just not worth it. We need him healthy in the playoffs.
Look, it sucks. No doubt. If he doesn’t get injured and we win and he doesn’t have another injury the rest of the year, it’s considered a good move to keep the momentum.
These guys are competitors who want to play. Injuries happen. Even Jokic’s injury was a random chance. All we can do is hope he recovers quickly and keep pressing on. I’m not prepared to throw the coaching staff under the bus just because they wanted to win a game and AG appeared good to go.
he literally had a whole offseason to rest and still got hurt like 14 games in. i don’t think rest is really doing anything at this point

Jalen Green played all 82 the past 2 seasons and 76 the year before that. So far this year he’s only played 2 “full” games, with heavy minute restrictions. The other 2 times he’s suited up he’s reinjured his hammy. He’s had a ton of time off for rehab. It’s not really indicative of the type of player or your injury-prone-ness (is that a word? I don’t think that’s a word). Hopefully AG gets some rest and reinforcements come in so he doesn’t need to carry so much. Need mr nugget in the playoffs, even if it’s only 20-25mpg.
Side note…Wonder if the front office thinks twice about trading zeke now. Only real 4’s on the roster are AG/Zeke/Holmes and Daron isn’t ready yet. Peyton at the 4 works at times but you don’t want him matched up with true 4’s or double big lineups that Houston, San Antonio, wolves, etc can run.
Injury speculation is even worse than all the trade Jamal bullshit. A bunch of pretend physio specialist evaluating a patient they haven’t seen with knowledge they don’t have. It’s beyond pointless.
