  1. What the jets should do is hire Greg Roman. See what he can do with Justin Fields and avoid dead cap by releasing him. You take a late round flyer on a QB and you sign Malik Willis or Mariota who are also dual threat QBs. And you get a completely new coaching staff in 2027 if it doesn't work. No harm no foul

  2. I gotta give a shout out to all us Jets fans that have stuck with this team throughout all this dysfunction. Most other fanbases would have jumped ship after 16 years

  3. He wasn’t the real problem. Every time I see someone do an all-22 breakdown and look at the stats of separation for receivers it’s just the QB that’s the problem. He got WRs open. Run blocking could be a bit better. He’s also learning to be a real OC. Firing everyone means no consistency. DC had to go, QB coach needed to go, but Engstrand wasn’t a huge issue. Instant success or get out is wild. By that logic, sell the team Woody.

  4. Engstrand might have been hand cuffed at times, especially early in the season by Glen, but not using Isiah Davis in first few games, was a red flag, he got better, when it mattered and they had to pass, he seemed to be a half way decent play caller, if he progresses the way Daboll did, who was horrible when he first became a coordiator, he has a chance, I agree with you're take.

  5. This was the staff Glenn put together last year and this year they are mostly gone and has a OC that isnt capable of doing the job in all of this mess Glenn has created
How is it at all possible that Glenn still has a job he has shown zero skill at evaluating the staff he put together in all this mess Glenn is the common denominator of all thats wrong this is actually worse than what Saleh had going on

  6. Last I heard about Mike LeFleur was an interview with Sean McVay when asked about who calls Offensive Plays McVay responded "I let Mike take the wheel every once in a while". That's far from a ringing endorsement. The word is McVay has hunted that he is looking to step down in the next few years and take some time off. So if LeFleur is so good why is he taking interviews for other teams ?

  7. He came from Detroit and we barely saw ANY semblance of creativity like Ben Johnson had not only in DET but also Chicago as well; yeah the offense was top 10 in rushing but how many times were we down 20 running the football? 29th ranked offense is a huge reason why we always consistently stink. No offense , Ever.

  8. Maaaaaaaaaan just fire Glenn and hire McDermott 🤷🏽‍♂️ let him pick a coaching staff. Because 9 times out of 10 we are going to to fire Glenn next year. Tanner is not that bad but we didn't have the personnel, if Justin Fields could throw we would be 10-7 with bad defense. The only Mougey did to help the offense in free agency was signing Reynolds 😒

  9. Respectfully I think you’re being hypocritical. You just gave Tanner grace in regard to the rosters shortcomings but refuse to give Glenn/Wilks the same grace. I think they all deserve a bit more grace, this was a terrible roster in a rebuilding year.

  10. if the Jets would have a lets stand pat attitude , with the miserable year they had, people would be hating them for that . When you have the stats and more importantly the win total that they had , I believe change was needed . A.G. is making those changes , I believe that is the correct thing to do , lets wait and see how that effects things before we knock it .

  11. MLF was very much so ahead of Tanner. Not saying Tanner’s bad at all but comparing what the two had to work with and their results you can really see that there’s a gap. Tanner has potential though so maybe a year under a proven OC who’s trying to grab a check and jump to HC might let him unlock his potential.

  12. This is so bad , no quarterback no head coach what did you expect . Just stop listening to the wrong people this message is for the owner . Please please sell the team everything you do is wrong we need a competent owner , coach and quarterback to start .

  13. Oh cut it out won't you 😧 !? You must have forgot that AG is on the hot seat & he has to come out the gates
like the house is on fire & the fire department is 2 towns away 😱 ! Tanner Engstrand just was not good as a
( OC ) ! And AG knows it ! It just that AG couldn't fire him like he did Steve Wilks & he waited too long to fire
Wilks 😡 ! As a matter of fact Steve Wilks never should have been hired 😳 ! His job history speaks for itself !
So, it's the off-season AG has to make changes if he is going to survive, he can't go 0 & anything next season !

  14. Got a good laugh out of the spike whatever happens happens. I think we gotta give Tanner another shot at OC with a fully healthy and functioning roster. It was most likely made public to light a fire in him while looking to bring in another offensive mind to bounce ideas off of.

  15. Jets ranked 11th in rushing which is amazing considering the ineffective passing attack due to lack of talent. So, basically the entire team is being turned over next year, coordinators, assistants, QB , the entire defense, but AG holds onto his job. I've never seen another NFL team do that and have success. But what choice do we have but to hope it all works out. Mougey and Glenn basically have to hit a homerun on every pick on the coaching staff and the draft.

  16. What about AG other hires ST/OLC does he get credit for those hires he’s getting rid of who didn’t work out give the dude some grace 1st year in a messed up situation he inherited

  17. Why Glenn picked an OC who was new to the job I don't know. Maybe because they knew each other at another place of employment. Getting all new defensive coaches is another step in the right direction. The people he had there weren't getting the job done. Engstrand should stay with the team. Pushing the ball all the time isn't the way to go. Appreciate your reports.
