Only one offsides call and one unexplained second half meltdown from seven straight too

  1. The offsides doesn’t piss me off as much as the “roughing the passer” call we got that enabled them to get the W.
I’m convinced the Bengals game was called in by Vegas. There is absolutely no reason we shit the bed as bad as we did, it was fucking sad.

  2. Idc much about the offsides call as it lead to us getting Spags although I do think if we win that game we’re rolling in the Super Bowl. The bengals game was inexplicable that one will forever perplex me

  3. It’s easy to pin the Pats loss on the off sides call because it happened late and was called against an unpopular player. What everyone seems to forget though is as good as Pat was in the second half, he was complete ass in the first half. If he is even average in that first half then Dee Ford never even gets the chance to line up offsides because the game is decided well before that.

  4. Yeah but that’s just football. If Sneed doesn’t punch out a miraculous fumble at the 1 vs the Ravens, we might not make that one.

In close games it’ll always be 1 or 2 plays that’s the difference.

  5. The second half meltdown which ended our season and we decided to move on from our offensive coordinator. I wonder where he’s at these days

  6. When I get to talking about the dynastic output by KC since Mahomes took over, I always try to make it sound even more dominant by closing with: “the world was 2 quarters of football and 1 inch of Dee Ford’s finger away from 7 straight SB appearances for the KC Chiefs.”

  7. I mean…we were as “close” to 7 straight as any team has really ever been, but the Bengals second half meltdown wasn’t just some fluke thing or single mistake, they absolutely bombed that game.

And SB55 against the Buccaneers was never in our grasp. Closer than 30 other teams, true, but we were never in contention just like we were never in contention for last year’s Super Bowl, either.

Close is a relative term, I guess, but we were not really “close” to 7 straight. Just closer than any other team has ever been lol.
