Nearly every move the Steelers have made I’ve been able to convince myself to see the silver lining. This is the first one that I’m completely unable to. I feel sick 🤢.
Those 2 weeks of optimism were fun. Going to be hard being hopeful about the direction of this franchise with Rooney on the throne.
I don’t recall a head coaching hire as unanimously clowned as this one. Maybe the Cowboys hiring Schottenheimer came close, but this has to take the cake.
I’ve been a Steelers fan my entire life. I was really hoping for a new era in the franchise. AR2 said let’s run it back with someone whose entire offensive philosophy was pre 2010.
I unsubscribed from the season ticket wait list and the Steelers pro shop marketing. If all they care about is money, I am done giving it to them.
Kinda like the last 5 years of watching this team
Basically guaranteeing we won’t see a playoff win for the next 5 years at least. This is without a doubt the worst Steelers decision in my lifetime
I made a joke with my buddy that the Browns were going to have to accept McCarthy because no one else would want him. How the tables have turned.
You just know they’re not gonna fire him until his contract runs out, too lol he would have to be abysmal for them to even consider it.

It’s simple for me, I just won’t watch. Save money (no NFL Ticket), have more free time on the weekends. Winning!

I’m fairly optimistic about the hire myself, and feel better about the next few years than I did when Tomlin stepped down..
We got an experienced coach, that knows what it takes to get to the Super Bowl… hopefully he hires an OC that can modernize what we do, and a DC that utilizes the talent we have…
This is easily the most disappointing, shittiest crock of shit I’ve ever experienced as a sports fan. I mean, this absolutely takes the all time shit cake.
The only thing that would make this vaguely tolerable is if the Bills actually do shit the bed and go with Rivers
This guy only won a SB because Ben wasn’t on his game that day and turned it over in critical moments- yeah this hire is suspect
