Shohei Ohtani Accepts 2025 NL MVP Award in English | Thanks Dodgers, Teammates & Mets 😂

Shohei Ohtani receives his 2025 NL MVP Award and delivers an incredible acceptance speech entirely in English, thanking everyone who supported him throughout the season.

Shohei Ohtani shows class and humility while shouting out the Dodgers organization, the front office, teammates, coaching staff, and staff behind the scenes. He also gives love to his supporters, his family in Japan, and most importantly his wife Mamiko, their daughter, and Decoy.

And yes, he even slips in a funny moment thanking the New York Mets too.

This is a special moment from one of the greatest players ever, celebrating another historic achievement.

  1. Ohtani is the most humble nicest guy and a great player, everything you want from a sports athlete, and Shohei does alot for charities, recently he's former teammate pitcher Gus Varland whose also the brother of Louis Verland the pitcher of the Blue Jays, had a mother who was diagnosed with cancer, Ohtani made a huge contribution to helping Gus and Louis mother’s cancer treatment. And recently opened up the Shohei Ohtani family foundation, a charity mission to create healthier happier communities that inspire children to stay active and live well, and by supporting programs that rescue, protect, and care for animals in need. A great player and even greater person, everything you want from a sports athlete. Dave Roberts mentioned how Ohtani likes to do a lot of good things and be involved in charity on the low key and doesn’t want to be in the spotlight for it.
