He either restructures for less or gets cut. He is good but still not that contract good. Same for Sweat.

Yes cut Edmonds and draft offensive tackle defensive tackle and linebacker first three picks best player available at each position if the if a linebacker is the best player at 25 you draft the linebacker if a tackle is the best player at 25 you draft The tackle and if the offensive tackle is the best player at 25 you dropped offensive tackle
Kole is great. No reason to trade him or cut him. He needs to be targeted more than once a game though. Even the Patriots targeted Hernandez more than once a game and they had Gronk on the other side.

Edmunds was having a Pro Bowl year, far better than he has ever had previously with the Bears or Buffalo, if you pro rated his stats from the first 10 games he would have 169 tackles, 7 Ints, 17 PDs, and 6 TFL…he fits the Dennis Allen system. Then he missed 5 games with a groin injury and he obviously played hurt the last part of the season…did he come back too soon? Probably. Commendable in my opinion. TJ edwards is washed, at best he's a 2 down thumper LB, and a major liability in coverage. Jackson played well but he's not Tremaine by any stretch. The idea the Bears will draft a LB and have the next Urlacher is ridiculous…
Dayo needs to be cut, or restructure his contract and play him in the rotation in the interior line, because he's NOT an edge rusher, not even close!!!!
Dayo and Grady are unfortunately both FA busts, but cutting both would result in net negative in cap space…this year. Next year they will be gone. We'll have to cut Edmunds, and Poles will have to primarily build thru the draft this year.
Kmet is a geat blocker too, if there is a forth round pick in trade maybe can be replaced with that pick gained

Edmonds has not played up to his contract, except in short bursts, very replaceable, so cut, if that contract cannot be redone

I think we also could trade some pieces to free up some cap space sometimes you need to subtract to add pieces like i love cole kmet an i like dj moore but i think we have enough depth an talent on this team to make up for there loses we could use that money on the defensive side of ball especially on the defensive line pass rush and interior to help with rushing the passer an stoping the run to help with the overall team
