  1. The Broncos of aren't running the ball on the Pat's defense…with a healthy front 7 they have the best run defense in the the league.

  2. Iโ€™m a Broncos fan and agree you canโ€™t ask a backup QB to go and win this game; you COULD however, ask the backup QB to manage the game by reducing mistakes and giving the rock to playmakers. Itโ€™ll be a tall task but Broncos can win this one ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Completely agree with Sherm. I think it's competitive early but Pats pull away in the second half. Pats W 27-17. The Broncos defense is top 5 but not as good as people say. Recently in the last 1 and half-2 months they've let up 33 to the Jags, 27 to the Commanders, 30 and 445 yards to the Bills.

  4. Nobody's gonna have to beg Sean Peyton. To throw the ball, he's gotta throw it. And we go and throw it off. And get ready for the super bowl, baby๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ.
    Go Broncos!!!!!!๐ŸŽ‰โค๐ŸŽ‰โคโค๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰โค๐ŸŽ‰โค๐ŸŽ‰

  5. Stidham hasn't thrown a pass in 23 months outside of preseason. In August ESPN labeled him as the 26th best backup in the league. Now, all of a suddon he is the second coming of Brady and you even have people saying if Maye and Stidham both play at their best that they are equal. What a joke. If Stidham was a starter he would have started in vegas and they wouldn't have drafted Aiden O'Connell. He would have started in Denver but they chose Russell Wilson and then after Russ was gone they still went out and drafted Nix instead of playing Stidham. The dude is 1-3 as a starter with 8tds and 8 picks. Unless the Patriots crap themselves they should win by a large margin

  6. The Patriots donโ€™t need to put 8 or 9 people in the box. Thatโ€™s asinine. With Milton Williams on the field, they havenโ€™t allowed a running back to get more than 58 yards in a game all season.

The Chargersโ€™ top running back (Vidal) got 31 yards. Most of their rushing yards came from Justin Herbert scrambles, and most of those were in the 4th quarter when the Patriots were fine with him gaining 8 yards (and then taking a big hit) as long as the clock kept moving.

The Texans ran 22 times for 48 yards. Their top running back (Marks) averaged 1.2 yards per carry and lost a fumble. One reason Stroud was so atrocious is that the running game was essentially a zero.

Meanwhile, the Bills have the worst run defense in the league, yet the Broncos managed a total of 70 yards on 22 carries.

I think Stidham is a competent quarterback, and Payton will prepare him well. But the Patriotsโ€™ run defense is genuinely great. Stidham will need to play at an All-Pro level, and thatโ€™s unlikely.

  7. Well at least I know Its going be a REMATCH of either SB 48 or 49 if the PATS then it's gonna be good SEA has the best D & dam the Best O too it's gonna be fun !! SEA wins the SB by the score of 23-to- 29 it's on baby & I've already seen all of this so take what you want from that!!

  8. Nice analysis. I agree 100%. BUT the Patriots still have to show up and play clean football, which team in the playoffs doesn't though. Stidham is smart and Sean Payton clearly trusts him, but he doesnโ€™t have real NFL game reps, let alone playoff reps. The speed hits different in January.

This Patriots defense – theyโ€™re young, fast, and theyโ€™re absolutely going to stack the box and come hard at the Broncos offense and Stidham. They just need to tackle and stay disciplined, but those young legs can fly. Love seeing fast hard hititng defenses as a former D1 track girly.

Denver is a brutal place to play. Even Brady struggled there. That crowd gets loud and it can snowball quickly if youโ€™re not composed.

For Maye, itโ€™s simple: protect the ball, play smart, and let the defense set the tone.

But, again I agree with Sherman – the lack of real game snaps might end up being the difference. One more day, it can't come quick enough!
