Another day

  1. He’s not going anywhere. Ed Policy giving MLF a long-term extension signaled that MLF can keep operating the same way he’s always operated, prioritizing relationships over results. He likes Rich, so Rich is staying.

  2. Yeah, sad to say…..I don’t think anything is changing. They are just letting the chatter die down. Until next year, when the same shit starts happening.

You have to remember, we were calling for Barry’s head 2 years before they actually fired him.

  3. Stop it. The GB roster philosophy will never allow for premier special teams..hell, we don’t even practice returns.. and that’s the truth. We work on punt coverage and kick coverage..with the kicker essentially being an independent contractor.

Rich is a beloved person who is paid to be available to aid player acquisition..which has been shown through the raider to gb connection. He is a good coordinator when allowed to utilize full roster contribution. Injuries have impacted that as well. He’s staying on board. This post is meaningless

  4. Can’t wait for the wildcard loss next year! Absolutely nothing will change. Same HC, Same OC, just another DC. 7th seed & fist round exit – book it!

  5. Mcvay and company fired their STC mid season. Lafluer and gutey don’t even have the balls to fire the guy after a full season of dogshit

  6. If special teams sucks across multiple coaches (it has), that’s a signal that the root issue is not positional coaching, but rather personnel and maybe even head coaching philosophy (willingness to let higher-quality offensive/defensive players also play special teams).

  7. Part of the issue I see is we keep the 3rd 7th round draft pick and want to develop them instead of veterans you you use as backups and special teams.

  8. What this Fandom has to remember is, the green bay packers do not prioritize special teams. We will not fire bisachia, we won’t find an actual return threat. There might be a kicking competition, but any other extra resources? I think this Fandom needs to come to a realization that teams are not a priority

  9. Multiple reports say EVERYONE in the organization like him. Gutey, Russ ball, MLF, players.

Highly doubt hes gonna get let go. If anything he’ll retire. Wouldn’t get your hopes up.

Also Idk why everyone thinks bringing in a new ST coach will fix anything. ST was bad long before we hired bissacia. Before he came in he was widely regarded as one of the best ST coaches in the league.

If he does leave we’re going to bring in someone else but not change the FO’s mentality on player acquisition/bottom of the roster players. Then in a few years when the ST still sucks we’re going to have dozens of posts asking why the new coach hasnt been fired yet

Lol who’s downvoting this? Nothing I said is incorrect.

  10. I’d be happy just looking for incremental improvement in both the kick return and punt returns. At least pick one guy and put them out there and tell him to try to get as much yardage on every kick as he can. We fair catch way too much and seems like we don’t even try to return. Lastly, we are one of the most penalized special teams units in all the NFL. Surely that is a coaching issue.

  11. Sorry to burst your bubble man, but I think Bisaccia is staying. I think he is a part of the culture more than just the ST coach. I think if they wanna keep him, fine but at least bring in another ST advisor or intern to bring in new ideas.

  12. We need to look at common denominators. Who has been part of coaching and upper management here for 8-10 years? They are the ones that need to go first.

  13. Can we just let this go, it’s not his fault our ST is a problem. We use inferior talent and too many young guys, Bill Belichek would have a hard time turning ST around.

  14. Something that I feel doesn’t get talked about enough with Rich, he was a proven coach when we hired him, but we immediately had a complete rule overhaul of the kickoff. Our punting unit does actually seem good outside the lack of a flashy returner, and I give credit to him for trying different guys there and settling with Doubs for his hands at the end. I don’t even blame him for keeping McManus there because of his experience and how mental kicking can be.

However, our kick return unit has been terrible. I think the game passed him by on that front, including the onside kicks.

  15. I’m more annoyed that no changes have been made to the offensive line coach, linebacker coach, or offensive coordinator. I think Packers fans are obsessed with Rich but he’s not the biggest problem on their coaching staff.
