The New England Patriots advanced to their 16th AFC Championship Game with a 28-16 victory over the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Game. This week, the Patriots will travel to face the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game for the third time. The teams faced each other in the Conference Championship Game in 2013 and 2015, with both games played in Denver with Broncos wins. The 2025 Patriots finished the season tied with the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks for the best record in the NFL with a 14-3 record to earn the No. 2 seed in the AFC Playoffs. The 14-3 record is a 10-game difference from the 4-13 finish in 2024. The 10-game improvement tied the 1999 Indianapolis Colts and the 2008 Miami Dolphins for the best turnaround in NFL history. The 1998 Colts were 3-13 and improved to 13-3 in 1999, and the 2007 Dolphins were 1-15 in 2007 and improved to 11-5 in 2008.

  1. Sitting down here in SC iced in hoping that the power doesn’t go out (for multiple reasons, but the game is too 3)

  2. Gonna wake up and watch 80 for Brady and Super Bowl LI since were snowed in and the game isn’t until 3 and no other games on before that.

What else should I watch? Those won’t last me until kickoff.

  3. i remember Kraft’s first Superbowl speech: “Spirituality, faith and democracy are the cornerstones of our country. We are all Patriots. And tonight the Patriots are world champions”.

now more than ever, patriots need to be world champions again.

    let’s. fucking. go.

  4. Can’t wait to watch the game and this sub meltdown every time the Patriots offense doesn’t score or the Broncos do anything positive.

  5. Hello from Colorado! Been teaching my two year old to say Go Pats when we see a Broncos fan walking around lol. Should be a good game!

  6. About 24 years ago, a young 2nd year QB was about to start in the first AFC championship of his career in Pittsburgh, with a former #1 draft pick serving as his backup. LFG!

  7. Let Maye bounce back and throw 5 TDs today, no fumbles or picks. I hope Campbell throws a shutout to rebuild his confidence. I want our defense to stifle them and keep the pressure up all game. 38-10 please! Let’s make it 24-3 at half so we don’t need to stress. Go Pats!
