  1. There’s no “if they don’t hit in the draft this year”. This was the exact conversation this time last year. I wish someone in the media that gets to ask John questions in person will see to hold him accountable for the awful draft picks for nearly a decade.

  2. the fact this dumb ass substation is even a thing is just plain stupid. its ovb kyle. the team is looking for a scape goat and excuses. where was this in 2023, 2019 and the 80s?

  3. He’s speaking out! (Like B.A) trade this guy immediately!!! WE are trading all our players that still have some value left for new players in the draft!

  4. Grant and Mr. Cohn said something that is soooo true on their last show. The rams and Seahawks have nucleus from 3-4 years and getting stronger thru the draft. We still hanging on to players from the 2017 nucleus!!!! That nucleus has got to go ASAP. Except for kittle. Everyone else can bounce for a draft pick including Warner and bosa!!

  5. Didn't the Niners win a Super Bowl with Steve Young while practicing next to the substation? I guess he was wearing his tinfoil hat 😊

  6. The Philadelphia Eagles had to let go, Andy Reid and even though it took the Eagles about 1213 years to win a Super Bowl they did it before Andy did The faster you admit you need to rebuild the faster it will happen

  7. Brandon, there was a great plan for a stadium in Hunter's Point, but the Yorks insisted on sticking it to Gavin Newsom (mayor at the time) because he wouldn't roll over on public funding of a billionaire's asset.

  8. Krueg was citing your name on recent podcasts as a source raising an interesting issue. Is he on your payroll now or was that the outset of a new pact to mutually hype? See Glen Gary, Glen Ross: "Always be selling!"

Separately, Kyle has a winning record as coach of the SF 49ers. This he did, even though he doesn't have the right stuff to be head coach. With John Lynch sitting on his knee as puppet, Kyle and John sounded the same messages to Jeb and to fans. Jeb provided all the money K&J needed to start a sugar high in the faithful, and they had some luck in the draft. Super Bowl appearances would seal K&J as an elite football combo. Well, 2023 was a "bump in the road. Next year its the Lombardy Trophy!" Little did the fans realize that the 49ers were playing with words, sounding "Lombardy" but spelling "Lombardi." The good news henceforth poured. No one noticed that something was "bad wrong" with the team initially. Other teams were getting great athletes, but not the 49ers. All over the NFL, great young players were dazzling fans everywhere but SF. As for Kyle, he was showing signs of "going Howard Hughes." He didn't trust new players, whether drafted or undrafted talent. Kyle would not ask if his WRs and TEs could catch the ball in traffic; rather, he wondered if they could block well enough or if they could run all the routes designed for another WR. In short, Kyle wondered if they could keep the many commandments of his system. This concern led him to his offensive plan whenever Brock was QB. It was "CMC, Kittle, JJ, Kyle-Juice, and Purdy." Ninety percent of the 49ers' talent-based, offensive plays involved these players, and fifty percent were often run or pass plays to CMC. Someone such as Kyle-Juice might have only one touch. Newbies such as DRob, BRob, Tonges and KB were involved, along with Ricky, with the other ten percent. CMC alone accounted for the base of this triangle of run-pass contributers. This arguably would be expected, given Kyle's alleged commitment to the run in offense. But how could Kyle be exalted as an offensive visionary if his scheme boiled down to "run CMC?" It is in fact Neanderthal, if not nuts.

The facts of this matter are founded upon the record. Kyle is a good offensive play designer but an incompetent head coach; John Lynch is a good PR man but an incompetent general manager. The inbreeding of NFL coaches and assistant coaching has made an embarrassing gaggle of increasingly misbegotten people utterly dependent on "family" for understanding and comfort. No wonder Jeb would prefer to stand aloof. It might take a CRISPR procedure to repair the damaged genes. Most people shrug as if seated across the doctor's lobby from Frankenstein's Monster; it's best to say noting.

  9. Idk why people wave-off the electric station shit. When its actually scientifically a thing. If its effecting the team we don't know. But to act like the possibility is just a joke is retarded.

  10. I don’t agree with you on most issues @cohnzohn, but with injuries you’re spot on, can’t be bad luck for 9 years. Matt Barrows wrote an excellent article with the data showing the 49ers are the 2nd most injured team in the Shanahan era. Lynch’s answer to injuries was so vague in that final interview made me as disappointed as I felt to the final Niner game. Change something or everything to fix it!!!

  11. Does Brandon even do his research before saying something? Brock Purdy is only 1" and 5lbs smaller than Mahomes. You're going to tell me that 1" and 5lbs is such a big difference that makes him too small? Sounds more like parroting than an actual informed opinion.

  12. OK, it is really way past time to stop with this stupid brainless internet theory about the substation. Don't you think the millions of people that have worked in the electric power field over the last 100+ years, guys that have spent 20, 30, or 40+ years working in that environment all day (all over the world). That maybe they would have figured out some side effects by now? A substation that has been there since the team started practicing there in 1988 has all of a sudden in the last decade become a serious issue? Don't you people understand how stupid you sound. MOVE ON, THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT WITH THE STORY. IT ISN'T A STORY AT ALL.

Should have spent 5 minutes ripping on the comedy of the Steelers hiring Mike McCarthy.

  13. Lynch is a HOFer, great player, great face of the franchise. Doesn’t make him a great GM. Probably took too many hits to the head. He’s made too many mistakes. Kyle is one of the greatest play designers of all time. His system makes average QBs look great. Doesn’t make him a great HC. He’s also made too many mistakes. Both have proven to be mid level managers. The Niners need C-suite leaders. Nothing will change until they are gone. Unfortunately, the Niners are led by Jed who is a very poor leader.

  14. This analysis is brainless. Brock isn’t even earning 20% of the cap, and the cap is increasing every year. By the final year of his contract, he may be around 16 or 17%. Relative to his play that is nothing. If the 49ers had a few first round picks on the lines and haven’t made the stupid move with Trey Lance, they would’ve had two or three shots at a Super Bowl. That’s the difference right now. We should have a few high draft picks on rookie deals and we don’t.

  15. It's easy to take care of. You put up mesh nickel or copper fence and you can paint the facility with a metallic paint . The mesh fence will almost completely stop the emf

  16. Jed been a bad owner… they’re lucky they’re this good with this bonehead running things.. move to Santa Clara but keep the stadium that was designed for San Francisco… tf are you doing. That playoff game in Seattle did you see how dope that fucking stadium looked? It shits on our stadium.. embarrassing

  17. Having a professional sports team near an electrical substation is absolutely moronic. If it is in fact harmful good luck proving it, that would just lead into speculation about already highly scrutinized frequencies like 5G. Not going to happen too much money involved… the only smart thing to do is not put yourself in that situation to begin with even as just a basic low IQ precaution.

  18. Smart move by Kubiak, I didn't think he would get a head coaching job worth taking tbh. I'm glad as a Seahawks fan it sounds like we've got at least 1 more season with Kubiak, I thought his play calling in both the 49ers games was very solid.

  19. They should have drafted Tyler Warren last draft, instead of Mykel. I said they would really regret not taking him, because they already have Kittle, and they would have needed him sooner than later.

  20. You can tell lynch and coach shanny don't wanna see the players win. Aiyuk leaving because that stupid grass practice field is electrocuting acl's pcl's and frying these dudes brains tf up!
