Coaching experience:

He has 25 seasons of NFL coaching experience. He has eight seasons experience as an NFL offensive coordinator.

He reportedly is a candidate for the Buffalo Bills’ head-coaching job and he is a candidate to be the offensive coordinator with the Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans.

Why the Raiders are interested:

Daboll is an experienced coach and is considered a strong offensive mind. He worked with Raiders’ part owner in New England for six seasons and they won five Super Bowls together. He is also connected to Raiders’ candidate Davis Webb. Perhaps they can be a package deal as head coach and offensive coordinator.

  1. In my opinion Brian is too emotional to be the head coach of the raiders. I would like a head coach to be more stable. Looking at Mendoza I don't think he would respond well to Brian.

  2. Giant fan here, you pretty much nailed it.Daboll runs a country club training camps,it took the team fours weeks to be football ready,by that time we were 0-4…he’s a good oc not a great hc

  3. your talking your self into liking this guy , it sounds like he been around , but ask your self if he can win , and if he can win hire him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Longer it goes the more it appears it’s likely Kubiak. But what a great opportunity for our front office to get offensive and defensive perspectives and visions for our Team from the leagues greatest minds.

  5. Love your commentary. I appreciate your professionalism. Also, your opinion is based on facts. Your message is articulated with humility and grace, not with unnecessary theatrics and profanity. Please keep up the good work. 👍🏽

  6. Not much to really think about right now! Just hope they ain’t waiting on Kubiak who then takes the Buffalo Job and has us scrambling! Hire Davis Webb probably and get this guy or Kingsbury on the OC or Go grab McDaniel before he locks up the Chargers OC! Raiders need to stop thinking we got our guy but the guy is questionable to being our guy!

  7. Very nice break down on the situation and history of Daboll. I have the same concerns around player relationships. It looks good on paper but the locker room could be at risk.

  8. The administration is not doing interviews to fill the staff of the eventual HC. They have already said the HC will fill his staff as it should be.

Dabol has vastly more experience than Webb. If anything Webb could be brought in to be the OC under Dabol. Webb has never been anything other than a backup and an assistant coach (non coordinator) we might as well bring back AP if we’re going to hire Webb as the HC.

  9. Daboll (day-bo)
I think he'll be OC not HC
It was said early on if Webb is named HC they'd bring in an experience OC (Daboll because of his relationship with Tom Brady)

  10. Wasted, you are absolutely correct. I don't want Deboil. I was in the Tristate area yesterday with my family. We visited American Dream Mall. Loved it. Right across from MetLife Stadium. I grew up in the Tristate. Raider Nation For Life!

  11. I can’t lie wasted, I’m down if he is OC but I’d rather go kubiak or Webb and go through growing pains with them based up the information you gave, and I trust it you in that area heating more than what we get other places, I’m in Missouri so it’s non stop Chiefs talk here 🤦🏾‍♂️😂

  12. Interesting turn of events. Daboll as HC and DW as OC. Daboll would be an excellent mentor for Webb. If true, the brass is laying down the foundation for years.

  13. Salute 🫡 WASTED and all RAIDER NATION, he definitely has worked on a lot of good coaching staffs. But I'm on the same sheet of music with you, about him coming to the RAIDERS and putting his finger prints on this new team and hopefully MENDOZA this coming 2026 NFL season. Awesome job on the CON- ⛺ keep up the good work Fam 💯
