3. Josh has a better TD to int ratio than Rivers so everyone saying he could help Josh with anticipation and processing, spare me. Aqib Talib said that while he like Rivers and has respect for him, their offense with Rivers was one of the easiest/simplest he went against. He looked forward to that game. Rivers was a known choker in the playoffs. Josh has that issue as well, so I'm not sure what y'all think Philip can teach him.

4. Josh Allen is one of my all time favorite quarterbacks and I believe he is the best overall QB on the field right now. That being said in my opinion after watching that press conference with Beane and Pegula I think I’m more confident with Allen picking a coach. I have always loved Pegula and what he has done for Penn State and Buffalo sports. I think he has a lot going on with his family and should let go of a little control and let others make some of the decisions.

5. No way to Rivers as HC. Zero experience and not exactly a confidence builder.

6. I could take Rivers as a QB coach. Glad McDaniels cancelled!!!!! I don't have a problem with Josh sitting in on interviews. To be honest, I'm getting frustrated in who the Bills end up with in their coach pick. This whole week seemed the Twilight Zone to me.

8. Shula, udinski and kubiak look promising. I like klint kubiak a lot I watched some of his plays and they seem similar to buffalos with a weaker team. I think he would fit well here with most of the pieces we have

9. Rivers as OC/assistant HC. We get a guy who can audible his way into nearly beating Seattle after sitting on the couch for 5 years and he gets some HC experience for his resume.

10. I don't hate the Rivers idea. I like it a hell of alot more than McDaniels or these other young unproven guys. Imagine a coach who actually played football …at a high level. He's already a proven leader. Great QBs understand the game at a higher level than any egghead ever could. Josh has already outgrown Brady and any OCs. He could be 3rd string QB too and free up a slot. If we lose Brady, I'd love to see Rivers as OC. The time to include Jos in the process was before THEY shanked McDermott. I wish the beat reporters would have asked Beane if he made any effort to talk Terry off the ledge before plunging us into chaos.

11. Joe, you just gave us a great video idea: what does a team that is centered around JA17 look like? How would YOU shape the Bills to do that? Coaches, players, schemes? What does a defense look like that optimizes JA17?

12. Last 5 Super Bowl trends say it all offensive-minded head coaches are the winning formula. Stop resetting the offense and build around what actually wins in January.

23. I like the Rivers angle, that said my first pick would be Klint Kubiak. Bring in Rivers as the QB coach and Daball as OC. That of course would be up to Kubiak.

24. Rivers doesn’t even coach at the 4A or 5A level where the blue chippers play. A head shaker to say the least…
