  1. Well … We know what Shohei has been doing since winning back to back World Championships … LEARNING ENGLISH … THE LANGUAGE OF AMERICA 🇺🇸💪😤👍⚾️🏆🏆🏆💙🤍 NEXT: 3-PEAT … STAY TUNED 😅

  2. Ohtani, moving from Japanese professional baseball to the Major Leagues, working hard and succeeding – it's truly wonderful.

In the majors, he is treated as a professional athlete, respected and valued.

Meanwhile, famous players in Japanese professional baseball traditionally spend their off-season appearing on TV variety shows where they are teased by comedians, appearing on golf programmes with celebrities,

and attending drinking parties with female announcers at night.

Even after retirement, as exemplified by “Motoki” – whom Ohtani refused – they live by pandering to TV media in desperation for work.

Mr Ohtani clearly disliked this way of life.

In America, privacy is highly valued, and it's a society where an athlete's performance and character are properly evaluated.

If you succeed, you won't face any financial hardship after retirement, so there's no need to curry favour with the media.

I hope promising young players in Japan, too, won't be bound by the old-fashioned hierarchical relationships, will keep their distance from TV and the media, and will take Mr Ohtani's way of life as their goal.

  3. Woooow…Right on Shohei..Great job. You the man. Thanks for all you are for the Dodgers and All of us Dodgers fans. Let's get it again. Awesome speech. Impressive. Let's Go Dodgers #1

  4. Tommy Lasorda once said, home runs brings the excitement of the fans but pitching wins games, and Shohei Ohtani is dominating and doing both. He is the Goat 🐐 even Dusty Baker said Ohtani is the greatest player he ever saw, that's coming from Dusty Baker who grew up watching Wille Mays, played with Hank Aaron and managed Barry Bonds.

  5. Ohtani is a once in a generational player, one of the best hitters pitchers and baserunners, even Babe Ruth never did that. Ohtani's greatness is measured to Ruth in Goat status, the thing is Ohtani as pitcher blows evey year of Ruth's season in offense when he was a pitcher hitter. And when Shohei was just a hitter in 2024 he had a more historical season then Ruth ever had, Shohei went 54-59 over a thousand OPS and 130 RBIs and Runs scored. Comparing Shohei Ohtani to Babe Ruth is like comparing a Rolls Royce and Lamborghini to a Ford Model T, or comparing a rotary phone to a Iphone 17 Galaxy S25, and Antanna Box TV to a Digital HD LED High Resolution TV. Just like current ballplayer's are bigger faster stronger and better then players a hundred years ago.

  6. Ohtani is only the second player ever to win the MVP 4 times, Shohei is also a 4 time silver slugger, 5 time all MLB first team, and a 4 time AP sports male athlete of the year award winner.
