Its too subjective. Which is exactly what they want. Steering outcomes by reviewing or ignoring the review. Nothing new.
Replay been a mess in the NFL for awhile
The NFL doesn’t WANT there to be accountability. Their goal is to keep the money rolling in by keeping the drama high, not making sure things are actually fair.
So the position that’s supposed to make the 2 minute review calls hasn’t been filled in 2 years. That explains a lot.
The fact there is still no real explanation for why the nfl can make a choice to do an expedited review despite a flag being thrown is just so suspect to me.
Or the fact they didn’t have the official even look at the cooks catch.
Their lack of transparency makes it SUPER easy to go down the gambling/rigged rabbit hole.
Replay is a mess in a lot of sports. Check out the baseball section during the season to see some horribly called play nearly every game day.
College basketball and NBA have their review problems but I don’t know if it’s as big of a deal like nfl or mlb where one play can change the whole game
They should always review a turn over.
Always review scoring plays
always review a contested ball catches (like the one with cook)
Coaches challenges should be allowed at all times during the game. With the stipulation that it comes with a 10 second run off during the 2 minute faze of the game.

I hope somebody gets fucked by the refs today.
