  1. Why are we talking about the regression of the offense without acknowledging the biggest difference between ‘23 and ‘25 being Tua couldn’t make the same throws?

  2. Reason, thanks for the very informative video! On the Dolphins official website this morning all of the coaches from 2025 are still listed along with their 2025 coaching titles except for of course Mike McDaniel. The only new hire listed is Jeff Hafley as the Head Coach. Their social media department must be working in slow motion😁

  3. That 23 season was explosive because of the cheat motion that the NFL ended right after the season. Magic Mike couldn’t recover and adapt after that.
My question is, how attractive is the Dolphins job to coaches? For a GM it’s great because they know the wallet will be opened.
IMO, no offensive minded coach wanted any part of this team because of the QB situation on contract or the QB situation for this draft.
The hope is once again on a defensive minded HC who will go with a familiar face at OC. Flores did that with OShea and Hafley is doing that with Slowik. The common denominator with both situations was there was no QB to lead the team.
My only hope is Sullivan can nail it in this draft and Shore can clean up the cap mess.
Will Malik Willis finally be the multi year bridge QB the Phins have been looking for all these years? Draft a QB each year and let him be the full time dual threat to compete.

  4. Can we please stop pretending Anthony Weaver is a great coach? He’s not even a good coach in my opinion. When you have former players saying no one knew what they were supposed to do that’s a clear sign he’s not a good coach. Give me one example of his defenses coming up with a big stop in a clutch situation?

  5. The most important assets the staff must have is the capacity of selecting the right players. Then after, there are "zillions" of defense/offense schemes that can work or not a priori, but the staff should have the capacity to adapt those schemes to the skills of players and all the way around. For the moment the new staff is just names, and it's difficult to predict if they're going to be successful or a complete failure. What is a fact is that they lack a lot of experience. Everything is terra incognita with the Dolphins right now.

  6. Slowik had issues with Stroud, then took a veiled shot at Tua. Is this how he does business? I don’t know. Possible red flag.

  7. I mean CJ Stroud wasn’t exactly lightning it up this season. And several media members are now questioning what is going on with CJ after that playoff loss. Maybe CJ has been part of the problem.

  8. Patchwork that may or may not work. Love change from McDaniel but I’m seeing JES take easy route, rushing to make serious decisions, not looking very promising. Lackluster coaches it’s almost as if they expect to suck for next 2 yrs and we fans need to get over any hopes for better were being conditioned to accept it

  9. I keep saying this even with McDaniel and now with this new OC that comes from the Shanahan tree Mac Jones is a no-brainer for a quarterback. He flourished in that offense he is perfect quarterback to run that and you’re not gonna have to give up a lot.

  10. As far as CJ’s regression, CJ had issues from the get go. After his rookie year it seems like he didn’t focus on what others like Bobby wanted him to focus on. CJ “knew better”. Just like Tua fell off after he decided he didn’t want to invest in his body anymore 🤷🏻‍♂️
