This is why I don’t trust xG stats. It’s way off base. Our defense might not give up a lot of shots but the ones we do are so bad sometimes.
But our goalies face the hardest chances… /s
It’s really hard for people to admit that our goalies have simply not been good at all. If we miss the playoffs, it will be on goaltending.
For anyone defending the goaltending : do you watch any other teams? Do you believe that all other 31 teams don’t give up good chances?
There’s a very easy way to tell : our PK absolutely fucking sucks. Your best player on the PK needs to be the goalie. I have absolutely 0 faith in our goalies to step up and make a difference and win us a fucking game once in a while.
So the Senators have the best D in the league? What are they doing on the 15th spot in our division??
