Without an elite first option nothing we do matters. Odds are they do absolutely nothing at the deadline anyways.
Call me crazy but I’m fine w missing out on Gianni’s if the front office is comfortable actually hoarding assets for the real whale to come to Miami— Ant Man
We don’t have a first option star so it doesn’t matter
I don’t know if “Whale Hunting” is a viable team building strategy in the modern NBA. Superstars can sign for too much money for their home team which makes top tier free agency signings rare and trade prices for that level player have become so hogh that it depletes a team of any assets left to create a competent roster around the star.
