  1. Very honorable. Padres get helped significantly by removing his AAV, so I imagine they are willing to give him a chunk of real money in return.

  2. Love everything about this guy, on and off the field. I hope he stays with the organization in some way after retirement.

  3. The Players Association will not be happy with this especially with negotiations of a new agreement pending.
