  1. tbh I'm sick of barnes being in the starting lineup and getting the minutes he receives, he hasn't been contributing much of anything at all

  2. Gotta get rid of the overpaid and oft injured (THREE YEARS IN A ROW) Devin Vassell. He is easily replaced by the MUCH CHEAPER Julian Champagnie who can stay on the court and hit 3's. Vassell hit's 3's but remains INCONSISTENT when he is not hurt and plays regularly.

  3. Sorry but Spurs are not going to go out and get Yabu. He's washed up and not a very good outside shooter. Last thing the Spurs need is another guy who can't shoot. I am excited about the draft though. This is my thinking. We trade up for two top picks this year. We offer up Dylan Harper, who is having the worst shooting of any Spur on the roster. He never could shoot and everyone is playing him the same now. He basically is a worthless pick. I say we offer him and Sochan to let's say the Pelicans or Wizards for a chance at 1.) AJ Dybantsa or Boozer 2) Keaton Wagler (Illinois)/Fleming (UH). Anyone of those combinations are we are the team to beat for a generation.

  4. People who think Vassell is expendable have no idea what they are talking about. Devin in his best day is a better scorer than anyone on the team. He is a tough basket player and he is never going to be a great defender but he can be good enough

  5. One day on one of the Spurs Facebook groups, I posted that Harrison Barnes was not good enough and ever since that day he had played amazing and now he's playing his usual.

  6. The Spurs could easily acquire Yabusele without giving up a major piece like Sochan, or moving into the next cap apron. You simply get the Knicks to take back Bismack and draft compensation (two or three second round picks?). Yabusele doesn’t fit in New York, never plays, and makes three million more than Biombo. It’s a good deal for New York, as they will now pay Bismack less money to ride the bench than they pay Yabusele, and the Spurs get a playable upgrade in the frontcourrt

  7. Olynyk for Yabusele could be a pretty good move for the Spurs. That’s what I think, especially if a physical profile like his can get back to the form he had in Philly.

  8. I 💯 % want Sochan gone. But trashing him for that fat Frenchie would be the ultimate waste of an asset.

You’d essentially be trading the potential of sochan for a fraction of the value… which otherwise can be used in a big trade package.

If you’re going to trade him for this guy you might as well keep sochan past the deadline and match in offseason. Then trade next year.

  9. Another thing about Yabusele is he’s ethnically Congolese like Wemby, so there’s that connection too. People will disagree, but I’d genuinely call the Warriors about Kuminga. This feels like a rare buy-low window on a premium young wing because the Golden State situation is messy, but the talent is obvious. He’s the perfect downhill, explosive forward next to Wemby. He attacks closeouts, pressures the rim, runs in transition, finishes, and has real two-way upside so Wemby can roam. And we can offer something real without touching the true core because we’ve got flexibility and assets. Give him Spurs development plus a defined role and you might unlock a long-term Wemby-era co-star. The Championship math is simple: a superstar big and a legit two-way wing. Kuminga can realistically become that.
