Sorry keeping Donovan is a mistake
Holy crap. Trust me if the Cardinals get rid of Brendan Donovan theyâre gonna lose the blue collar base. The timing on this couldnât be any better or worse. Weâre fed up and the attendance last year approved it. Brendan Donovan is the guy you build a team around nobody works hard harder. He doesnât run his mouth. He can play anywhere and heâs going to continue to get better. Donât trade him build around him.
It could be teams are worried about Donovans durability. He definitely needs to be traded by July. I just hope they start JJ at 2nd and put Donovan in LF.
There is no rush. If he is still here when players report. He will still be available, they arent going to flinch and trade due to some nonexistent deadline, get the right deal and stay patient
Donovan isn't going to get dealt until the trade deadline. A Rosenthal report said the Cards were valuing Donovan almost as high as the Diamondbacks price tag on Marte. No one is giving two top 5 organizational prospects for Donovan.
