If this is earth shattering news then lions have a pathetic scouting staff. And Woodward Sports is complete trash
Good.!
He’s awful and we’re not drafting him but this isn’t news
This just in! A scout from a team is doing their job! Everyone watch out!
I remember Alex Leatherwood. I’m a little weary on Alabama Offensive lineman they’re been hit or miss
Not really a fan of Proctor. Has potential but he is VERY raw.
Brad does loves SEC players
Not another project like Manu please. Can we just draft a proven tackle.
I mean im sure they’re talking to a lot of guys or at least they should be.
Kaydyn proctor isn’t even at the shrine bowl… There is DL Kaleb Proctor there.. More likely that’s who they were talking to and the media just reporting more false stuff.

Was that scout skip
I think they got the wrong proctor. Kaleb proctor is the one at the shrine bowl who is a d lineman
“Hey bro, you wanna come work security in the big leagues?”
As an Iowa fan, I remember the recruiting process coming out of high school with Kadyn was very odd.
It was very back and forth with Iowa and Alabama. I’m not sure I remember exactly what happened but I believe he verbally committed to Iowa but then officially signed with Alabama unexpectedly, without informing Iowa.
Then, Saban left Alabama and Kadyn visited the Hawkeyes to possibly come back home to Iowa. He was projected to transfer back but then ended up staying at Alabama.
I’m not sure what happened behind the scenes but I got the vibe he wasn’t very mature. That version of Kaydn wouldn’t fit the Lions culture.
All in all, I hope Kadyn has grown as a person and a player, and I know the Lions will due their due diligence in scouting the players, but I’ll always remember the weird college signing process Kaydn Proctor had with Iowa.
Let’s not get a long term project at LT after Decker retires please.
As a bama/lions fan I want all the Bama guys. As a fan of Dan Skipper and his eligibility, I think Proctor would fill his role nicely.
Dude, no way? A scout was… scouting?
I don’t get why people are so excited about the idea of a mid first rookie tackle starting.
Please God no.
Can he play center?
Anything OL or secondary
Turns out he was just asking for directions.
Is he recovering from a serious injury? If not, move on.
This’ll be an overreaction but I really hope we do NOT draft a JAG (just a guy) in the 1st round. His feet are slow and clunky and he’s too inconsistent with when he initiates contact with his hands.
I know it’s really early for that kind of sentiment but he has to play Guard in the NFL if he wants any chance at a long career, that or he needs to cut 20-30lbs off his frame to try and speed up his feet so that lighter rushers don’t give him nearly as many fits when they target his outside shoulder.
We are the Detroit Tuscaloosa Crimson Lions at this point.
I approve of this message.
They will talk to dozens of players
Skip?
As someone who has seen every snap of his at Alabama he cannot play tackle in the NFL. He gets beat by speed rushers and routinely is poor with is footwork and hands so power rushers can give him problems as well. Now could he move inside to guard and be dominant like Mekhi Becton was for the Eagles after leaving the Jets and no longer playing tackle? I think he could and he could be a road grader on the inside:
