  7. I really don't think it's as bad as those around the league would have you think. Obviously, the team won't be great next season. There will still be a lot of youth, but how about playing the youth? We found out that Rogers and Grant look pretty good, but could have played them earlier when Miller and JPJ went down and their replacements looked like crap. Get a starting guard, DT, LB, and FS. That will go a long way. You can then get depth for OL, WR, RB, LB, and edge.

  8. I would love to see them give Henry ruggs a second chance. He's due for parole in August. He shows contrition. He was really starting to get better. They will address the offensive line in free agency. They have some good pieces.

  9. The question is can this OLine play or not? Was it the coaching that made this team suck? That coaching regime didn’t have any identity or clear direction. The last 3 regimes failed to find out what AOC is. We’ve literally been spinning wheels. Going into this season our OLine was decent. Now it’s bad? I am completely confused about what this team is.

  11. It has been reported that Mike McDaniel WANTS the Raiders job. Along with his HC experience and his innovative offensive schemes, this should account for something. Unfortunately, the Raiders indecision about naming a head coach may end up costing them dearly. If Kubiak stays with the Seahawks or goes elsewhere, they may be left with having to make a risky or questionable hire that may result in yet another year of failure.

  12. Free agency, the draft and the right scheme can make this a top ten offense, able to play "keep away" ball control, which would help keep the defense rested.

  14. Don't worry about winning this year. Use all our picks and free agency to protect Mendoza and build the offense around him. Next year we fine tune the offense and start building the defense and shoot for the playoffs. Year 3 we aim for a championship. Not protecting Mendoza in yr one would be incredibly stupid and could cause him to lose his confidence and ruin his career. Ive seen countless teams do that to promising young QBs. We don't want to be that team. Build and get that offense humming this year. Start installing the defense of course but do it with the players we have. We can worry about putting talent on the D next year. Trying for instant gratification in year one will ruin any QB. PROTECT HIM YEAR ONE and we should have a franchise QB for a long time. Get him the hell beat out of him year one and we will have wasted our pick
