  1. I completely agree. Smith’s play has really declined over the past two seasons for several reasons. While he’s still a serviceable starter, I think his market value will end up being higher than what he’s truly worth. At that point, I’d rather go with a younger option like Travis or even Gonçalves. You’d need to bring in another guard, but guards are much cheaper than tackles. You’d save a lot of money, and I don’t think the overall level of play would drop much—if at all.
