17. Either you go all in with the rebuild or you try to win next year by signing contracts, adding pork to our cap problem and lose out on a future draft position. Why? Dump Tua, take the hit. The Jets are rebuilding without a QB, so they'll bring in some FA QB and still suck next year. Then we can pick up the best QB in 2027. I don’t have a problem with resigning players who are here from last season as long as they resign for an affordable price tag. 30 million over the cap unfortunately means the roster is going to have to be gutted to get under the cap by 50-70 million. An ugly 26 season is the only way to become a team that can win playoff games and compete for Super Bowls
