Appreciated the content and engagement. I stepped away before you got to the comments commentary. Don't expect a reply, but, re: Gallen, wasn't sure whether you were factoring in they are losing picks already with Bichette. So these would be 3rd best and 6th best. Not sure if Diaz comp is exempt from that calculation….
Vientos is trash. He should sign an extension now bc if he has another bad season he ain’t getting shit.
If you want Starling Marte on the team, who are you removing from the current 26/40 man roster?🤷♂
My only issues owth Marte. Is you need a lefty bat off the bench amd it takes time away from. Vientos
Bench all right handed. Torrens Taylor Vientos. / Marte. No left hand. Unless Benge makes roster but still he’s be starting most games

Vientos is a terrible fielder at any position. He should not be on the field.

Certainly will be exciting to see if any of the pitchers from last year snap back. Senga didn't even care if he won or lost…..really lost his edge. Peterson? Same thing

I don’t like Marte for this team. So many times, Marte came up small in clutch situations last year, killing rallies. No thanks
The problem with Starling Marte is the fact that he`s been around for a long time, Injury prone at his age.
Yes one of the biggest problems last year was clutch hitting. We never won a game when trailing after 8 innings, pure tragedy for the highest paid team in baseball. I am so happy we got Polanco and especially Bichette. Just look at their numbers last year with runners on and how they performed in the playoffs. And the other problem we had was starting pitching, now we just added an Ace in Freddy Peralta! I’m hyped!
Like Marte was a good Met, but at his age and injury history it's time to move on.
