It is wild. You look at like natural stat trick and there are like 10 combos that get minutes together. You look at pretty much any other team for a game and it is like maybe 5.
Where can i see the lines?
Pepe Silvia would probably be a better option at this point
Kinda starting to worry that Carbery caught lightning in a bottle last season and now he’s showing that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. The constant line blender is definitely hurting chemistry. Don’t know how he can expect people to work well together when there’s no consistency.
Why do all Caps coaches feel like they have to do the line blender every game “on a hunch”. Let them marinate together and leave it alone. It’s bad enough he only rolls 3 forward lines, stop mixing it up.
In defense of Carbs: we are still without a reliable second line center in PLD, Ovi has become a turnover machine, Protas/McMichael are on a downswing, Carlson has lost not just a step but a leg defensively, and Lapierre is wasted roster space fumbling the puck if he doesn’t have a chance to chuck-a-puck into the corner boards for 6 minutes per game. Hard to build consistent lines around that.
It’s hard to come up with line-combo when you are missing your star 2-way forward since the dawn of history.
