Why pay journalists when news sites can be staffed w/ college interns or part-time free lancers w/ other day jobs that actually pay their bills?
This is so crazy to me.
As someone who grew up in Fairfax, so many amazing names grew up or came out of that section. Not just Wilbon and Tony K. but Boswell and Sally Jenkins and David Aldridge, etc.
Not surprised sadly
