  1. Happy that Sam has his shot. I share your opinion, Andy. I doubt Sam would have had the same outcome as a Viking this year. Brad Johnson is another example of "letting him go" to a team that won him a super bowl while Cunningham faded away. Plenty of other examples in NFL history: Plunkett, Williams, etc… Sam's success this year, in my opinion, says more about Seattle's team and coaching staff than it does exclusively Sam. It's chemistry and Sam has found his fit this year with Seattle.

  2. A lot of us wanted to get rid of Darnold. That doesn’t matter. His performance tonight would arguably be the greatest post-season performance by a qb in Vikings history. KOC and KAM can’t recover from this. They need to be sent packing.

  3. Just admit you were wrong about handing the keys to JJ McCarthy. Anyone and their mom predicted he was trash and will continue to be trash moving forward. On top of that, I still wouldn't have signed Darnold for $100m.

  4. All of KOC’s post game speeches praising Darnold were a bunch of crap. As HC he should have, and could have kept Darnold. Instead he went all in on a QB that never ran a pro style offense in college. Well, let’s see who we bring in to contend with McCarthy next year.

  5. You kept repeating "highest drafted QB in franchise history" like it meant something. As if that alone was worth gambling letting Sam walk for a qb we all knew was a project.

  6. Sam Darnold was amazing!!! Great game and not the Viking leadership looks complete buffoons. Not only that, the whole team is probably happy for Darnold and the undertone for the entire team will be we should have went with Sam. As far as JJ is concerned, he will put himself under pressure knowing that we kept him over a QB who just want to the Super Bowl ands will most likely win. This whole this is one big screw up smh.

  7. I don't think the Vikings would be in the SB if they kept Darnold but they for sure make the playoffs. Happy for him and sucks that it didn't work out this year for us. I know if we signed Darnold we wouldn't have been able to sign Kelly and Fries but it's not like our O-line was good this year anyway. But it is what it is, I hope JJ turns out to be that guy.

  8. Now he wants to play good in the playoffs im convinced the nfl rigged Vikings probably never gonna win one not a big enough market

  9. I been saying we should've kept Sam Darnold. The fact he BALLED out in our system was because we ain't the friggin Jets. Sam actually got to show his talent and worth. I been saying it was KOC scheme that was waaaay off for these QB's. Now look. Sammie D in the superbowl. Not only did he get to crush us in the NORMAL season. Now he got to the SB which once again is a shot at KOC and vikings org. I hope Sam wins it, he deserves it.

  10. Dude what you talking about? Darnold plays and beats Pitt and maybe the eagles too , those were close games. And win against chi town later in the season also.
Good luck Darnold and Bradbury has played well.

  11. It’s hard for me to put Diggs in that conversation. He wanted out of Minnesota and he’s been toxic everyplace he’s played. He’s a talented receiver but he is such a diva. Just one more reason I hope the Seahawks win the Super Bowl

  12. Minnesota. 😂😂😂😂. Let’s Darnold and Jones walk. But at least you passed on Nix to draft McCarthy. 😅. It seems fitting that the only decent team that city has is WNBA.

  13. Happy to see Darnold having a success because he went through hell in the first few seasons of his career. There's hope for our boy JJ McC. One player on the Rams should get the blamed for this lost, that punt returner who muffed the punt! That's the difference on this game. The Rams' special team once again messed up and cost them a game.

  14. Let's face it. Sam deserves this win. Vikings was never going to go to the Superbowl with Sam. Sam went to the right team at the right time. I hope he wins the whole thing.

  15. We have more of a complete team then the Vikings had plus there are certain cursed teams vikes being one of them I figured you guys would win in 98 with Cunningham and moss and I guarantee you would’ve beaten the broncos but like I said cursed no miss kicks all yr and you miss that one

  16. Pittsburgh-based lifelong Vikings fan here. Darnold with a huge U-turn from last week. He was terrible against the 49ers. But young quarterbacks these days get their confidence shaken so quickly and badly. Respect the organization boys, Kevin O'Connell, aka the quarterback whisperer, turned Kirk Cousins from mediocre to career-changing stats. He gave Darnold a chance after getting mowed with the Jets (come on, it's the Jets). We can be classy fans here, simultaneously being happy for Darnold finding his groove and having faith in Joe Burrow…I mean inJJury McCarthy.

You know what, as long as we don't resign Carson Wentz I'm happy. But the QB position is literally the missing key for us and we need to play this off-season carefully. Let this season steep, next season we're going to make a run for it! Bet!

  17. How tf can u blah blah blah the Seahawks? They played great and so did Sam. I'm happy for the dude he deserves it. We ran him out of town and now we pay the ultimate price. Pretty damn disrespectful to blah it
